Dark Souls III , Red Dead Redemption 2 , and the Elden Ring DLC all played deliciously on the QM6K. When I sarcastically asked, "So this is better than your usual TV?" the immediate response was literally a laugh followed by, "Better isn't even a strong enough word." He specifically mentioned how instantaneous the response times felt (for reference, the TCL QM6K offers 4K at 144Hz, VRR, and ALLM).Read T

The TCL QM6K is breaking all the rules—starting with its shockingly fast release. Announced at CES just weeks ago, this is the first 2025 TV you can already buy. It’s packed with high-end features at an unheard-of price. With QD Mini-LED tech, 500 local dimming zones, and a 144Hz panel, it brings premium performance without the premium cost.Watch V

Thanks for this great review. This TV (particularly this Costco specific version) might be the best value TV available in the US right now. To my knowledge, we've never had picture quality so good, at this size, for so little money ever.Watch R
The TCL QM6K is an entry-level TV released in 2025 and technically replaces the 2024 TCL Q651G, although the newer model is a step up from the previous one due to its Mini LED panel and advanced gaming features. Out of the box, it's not perfect, but by using my simple recommended settings, I can easily give this TV a very solid 7 out of 10 stars, which considering the price, it's more than decent. The black level is phenomenal thanks to its 500 zones quantum dot mini LED which produces no blooming whatsoever thanks to the 0 mm gap between the mini LED backlight and the LCD panel.Watch S

Make no mistake, though, this is still a budget model at heart. Its HDR brightness is on the mediocre side, enough for a generally pleasant HDR experience, but it lacks the pop for truly eye-catching highlights. It doesn't look any dimmer in game mode, so gamers won't be losing anything there. At least its HDR brightness follows the content creators intent pretty closely overall.Watch 1
It looks HORRIBLE. Has this haze over it. That with VRR on, and all the settings tweaked. I cannot get this TV to look good with the PS5. I’ve done the HdR calibration 4 times. They feel stable once installed, but they need a wide TV stand. They also have a fixed height, so I could not raise the screen to make more room underneath. That leg design is worth checking before buying. A large soundbar may block the lower part of the screen unless the TV stand has enough space. Wall mounting is another option, and the TV supports a standard 300 by 300 VESA mount.Watch B
