The SB-3000 is one of their best-performing and more affordable subwoofers. It's a little smaller than some of their other subs, it's not quite as heavy as some of their bigger, badder subs, still just as rugged with a ton of bass. The 3000 R sounds equal to, if not better than my sb1000 pro. I don't have any measurement tools just playing some test tones through and app and my usual audiophile test tracks such as Geoff Castellucci's - Sound of Silence. Theres a particular bass sweep that the previous gen 3000 couldn't get. The 3000 R did it well.

So, this is a pretty substantial upgrade over the older outgoing model. As far as the ins and outs back here, we do have your unbalanced ins and outs, also your balanced XLR ins and outs. There is an IR input, also a trigger as well. There is a little USB for some service upgrades and all that other stuff.

You get a little older hopefully you get a little bit more breathing room with your budget but that's still a lot of money to me even at this age but I did tons of research and I think I landed on kind of my perfect subs what for my room, my listening habits, my listening levels these subs have been absolutely fantastic.

This Sub is great!

I just got an SB3000 and I can barely hear it. I just plugged my previous subwoofer cord into the LFE, but I have to give significant volume to hear it and have adjusted volume, etc. in the app. Have bass on receiver at 10. Something gas to be wrong. I hear more bass from my floor speakers.

It is the 3000 micro revolution. And those that you follow the channel, I've owned hundreds of subwoofers. I would say probably 30 different SVS subwoofers. I multiple some of those versions over the years. I'm a huge supporter of the company. I think anytime I've ever reached out to them they've been super helpful. Their customer service is fantastic.

And up here we have the SB2000 Pro, which is directly related to this SVS SB 3000. There isn't a Pro on the 3000 uh because this is the one that started it all off um with the smartphone app and all that sort of stuff and all these other ones got upgraded and so they were called Pro. But anyway, yeah.
