The Smoture VAC01 is proof you don’t need to spend big to get a decent everyday stick vacuum. It’s built around a lightweight, compact design that skips the wall-mounted dock altogether in favour of stand-alone storage, which suits smaller homes or apartments where drilling into walls isn’t an option.

This vacuum performed admirably on hardwood floors and low pile carpet, cleaning a majority of the sand, rice, and Cheerios during our stress testing. This is a great choice for a small house, apartment, or someone seeking a supplemental vacuum for quick, hassle-free cleanups, helping prolong the need to use your bigger, bulky vacuum.

One handles pet hair and tight corners better; the other wins on runtime. Find out which budget cordless vacuum actually fits your home before spending a dollar.

Its lighter suction and finite battery put some limitations on how hard or long you can clean, but we never found this to be limiting when we used it for routine clean-ups. The bottom line is you get a convenient vacuum that is accessible for those on a budget.

Bottom Line: Choose the Smoture VAC01 if you want strong everyday pickup and long runtime at a budget price; Skip if you need consistently great edge/crevice cleaning or you have thick carpets and heavy pet-hair shedding.
