But—and this is important—it’s not a bike for everyone. That substantial heft and motorbike-esque sizing mean it’s best suited for riders who have the strength and stature to manage it confidently. If you’re petite or not particularly strong, I’d strongly encourage you to test ride one before committing.

The Xafari had plenty of technology and was a perfectly capable bike, but a lot of it felt like features added onto a platform. The Aventure M feels like the technology was built around the ride itself from the beginning. The motor, AutoShift, Auto Mode, the security system, the app, it all works together naturally in a way I did not expect Aventon to pull off this well.
