Cheap, yes, but the value lens punishes false economies harder than high prices: weak brakes, questionable quality control, and a brand owners say abandons you. Buy the Lectric XP4 750 instead.

All right, the EB5 Max from JCON. Here we go. We are building a 26in bike low drop, which is nice, but 26-in tire uh ebike EB5 Max. This is exclusively sold through Amazon. I think it looks much better this way, adds a little rigidity to it and I like that. But it is also a little trickier to get on. Now, keep in mind I am only 5'6". So, as a short guy, that kind of matters swinging a leg over this stuff, but it is still very doable. Where this one is very easy for anybody to literally step right through and get on to go ride. You can step through the frame.Watch B

On flat roads, I saw speeds over 28 mph with pedal assist and throttle, and hill climbs were easy, where other ebikes bog down. The assist ramps quickly, so if you're new to powerful ebikes, start on a lower assist level. Pedal assist means the motor helps while you pedal, and throttle means the motor pushes the bike even if you don't pedal. Both work well here, but the throttle is spicy.Watch E

This is the kind of bike I see working for someone who wants help on commutes, errands, or casual rides without having to treat cycling like a workout every time. And you can also use the throttle when you are tired or dealing with traffic.Watch K
And after using it in my daily routine, I can say it feels more like a practical tool than a flashy gadget. What made me pay attention to it at the start was how simple it looked. It does not try too hard. It has a clean frame, a familiar mountain bike shape, and it does not feel awkward or oversized when I move it around. When I first picked it up, I noticed the weight right away.Watch B

This Jagin EB5 electric bike has proven to be quite an impressive piece of technology. When I first got my hands on it, the combination of sleek lines with a robust build caught my attention right away. Starting with the motors, the Jasion EB5 Max offers a mighty 2000 W peak motor capable of hitting speeds over 28 mph, making uphill climbs effortless and acceleration instant. Whereas the Woopin Gale peaks at 1500 W and reaches around 20 mph, which is enough for casual commuting but slightly less punchy for aggressive off-road rides.Watch G
That's a solid punch for a bike in this price range. It gets you up to 20 mph, which is right in the sweet spot for city commuting. Fast enough to keep up with traffic, but not so fast that it feels sketchy on a bike lane. And because it's class two certified, it's street legal in most areas right out of the box. Now, here's where the real world question comes in.Watch D
This powerful motor delivers strong acceleration, excellent hill climbing ability, and the performance needed to handle challenging terrain. Whether you're navigating city streets, gravel roads, dirt trails, or steep inclines, the EB5 Ultra is designed to provide responsive and exciting electric assistance. Another standout feature is the large 52V20 battery with a substantial 1040WH capacity.Watch H
The overall build feels solid in the ways that matter when you are actually using it. When I grab the handlebars and rock the bike side to side, it does not feel loose or flimsy. The kickstand is one of those small things you only notice when it is bad. And here it has been stable for me.Watch B

Um everything works except for the headlight. Uh like I said, well, I got an email already launched out, so we need to see how they handle that. Um, the basket is on their website. The Jasion EB5 is the bike that put Amazon on the map as a real e-bike retailer. At 2,283 reviews (and a 4.1-star average) on its ASIN as of mid-May 2026, it's the highest-volume e-bike on the entire Amazon US storefront, the bike that every "I'm thinking about getting an e-bike" search eventually surfaces.Read T
The brakes are 180 mm mechanical discs. They look the part and do the job, though they don't have the sharp bite or easy modulation of hydraulics. You get a basic seven-speed setup with a trigger shifter, a lockable front suspension fork, and a removable lockable 48vt 15 A battery tucked into the frame. From my experience, the first ride told me almost everything I needed to know about the motor.Watch B
The Jasion EB5 is a solid choice for riders who want an affordable, simple e-bike for flat city riding and short daily trips. It does not try to be powerful or feature-heavy, and that is exactly why it works for the right rider.Read T
On paper, it screams power and all-terrain range. In my opinion, this bike aims straight at riders who value speed, stability, and utility over minimal weight and compact size. The look is rugged and purposeful. The high-carbon steel frame feels stout and overbuilt with a max payload that encourages loading up the rack without worry. The price of that steel strength is weight.Watch T
The verdict is that it's worth considering if you're looking for an affordable e-bike that covers the basics well. It may not compete with premium models in every category, but for many riders, the combination of price, performance, and features makes it a strong budget option.Watch T
When we look at battery specifications, the Kiji Lase comes with a 48 V 22.4 Ah battery offering around 50 miles of range, while the Jasion EB5 Ultra actually features a higher voltage 52 V 20 Ah battery that delivers an impressive 70 miles of range, making the Jasion the clear winner for long-distance riders who want to minimize charging stops during adventures.Watch L
It is not the kind of bike I would want to carry upstairs unless I had no other choice. Moving it in and out of storage takes some effort. If I need to lift the back end or line it up in a tight space, I feel that weight every time. The frame feels solid. It does not feel flimsy or loose. I noticed that right away when riding over rough pavement and broken sections of road.Watch P
So far, I haven't had any problems with it. Uh I'm 56, 56 and a half, somewhere around in there, and it fits me perfect. I might raise the seat a little bit just for some added comfort, but it's actually pretty comfortable for me where it's at. Um, I don't pedal a whole lot. I Well, I pedal, but I'm not working. Just my feet are going and the bicycle is going.Watch

Uh, I bought this EB5 Ultra. I'm 55 years old. Um, I kind of wish I would have bought an ST. An ST bike has a much beefier frame tube, a better gusset here, and it eliminates this bar. So, they make up with it by strengthening this part of the bike here. Um, my wife and I had ridden mountain bikes years in the past. I've always had an up upper bar bike and I thought not a big deal.Watch
