The previous-generation Samsung flagship, still on shelves and heavily discounted, which is precisely why buyers cross-shop it. The Tab S12 generation replaced it with a thinner body, the newer Dimensity 9500 chip and IP68 sealing, so paying current-flagship money for last year's panel and chip is the classic coasting-on-an-old-reputation trap.

Despite its last-gen status, the cream-of-the-crop best overall Samsung tablet is still the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus. Since there was never a Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Plus variant, the S10 Plus is the most recent midsize option. It has a nice design, powerful processor, and even the option for 5G connectivity. The Goldilocks options that flank it include the base level Galaxy Tab S11 and premium Tab S11 Ultra, either of which might better suit your needs. On a tight budget? And this type of panel and this type of device for the most part I think still looks pretty goodWatch T
It remains quite expensive (it’s still £200 more than the newer Galaxy Tab S11), but this remains one of the best Android tablets around and remember it has a larger screen than the Galaxy Tab S11. It can handle itself against some of the best student laptops , too, with great multi-tasking options and all the performance required to cope with that. Samsung’s DeX software is also supported, further transforming this tablet into a laptop-like experience, though you’ll want to buy the accompanying keyboard ( around £120 now ) so keep that in mind when budgeting.Read S

First off, there’s something about the Galaxy Tab S10 FE's flat, unbevelled design that feels pleasingly tactile in my hands. Those chiseled edges make it feel more sturdy and substantial, while the satin finish to its metal feels wonderfully tactile beneath your fingertips. Despite its mid-market price, it definitely has a premium feel to it.Read T

They're hard not to like—they perform exceptionally well, have multi-day battery life, promise long software support, and the displays are vibrant, smooth, and sharp. If the Tab S11 series is too pricey, this is an easy way to save and still get a very powerful Android tablet; they're really not that different from the latest models.Read P

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10+ 5G is a premium tablet. The deal model comes with a good amount of storage space, too, but best of all is the price. This is a $1,250 tablet with a prior low of $1,000. Prime Day just lowered that floor, and you can get it for $930 . That means great value for this Android device.Read F
It also has 12 GB of RAM now instead of six or eight. So, definitely a nice upgrade for those two things. These two have the same exact size, 12.4 in displays. You've got super AMOLED for the S7 Plus versus dynamic AMOLED 2X on the Tab S10 Plus up to 120 Hz refresh rate for both.Watch P

It's still a great tablet to pick up, even with the S11 now outpacing it. It's a tablet that can take full advantage of what Android has to offer, but even at this price, it can't beat what Apple's iPads are dishing out.Read I

Now, none of this takes away the fact that this is a fantastic tablet and the best Android tablet you can get your hands on. This is still that guy. But, you know, I just had high expectations from Samsung. If you're a student or literally anyone wanting to jump into the world of massive tablets to boost your studying, power through multitasking, and do so much more, the S10 FE Plus with its 13-in display may be the best value option in 2025. The S10 FE Plus has been out for about 2 months now, and I've been able to use it for studying, creating notes, using Notion dashboards, and even some light video editing using Cap Cut. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus has a few good things that make it a good tablet. But when you look at competitors like the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus or OnePlus 3, they have desirable and unique advantages over the Tab S10 Plus. For example, while Samsung only provides the S Pen in the box, the Yoga Tab Plus has included number one, the stylus, number two, the keyboard cover, and lastly, the whole charger in the box. All those items included at no extra cost. For all those items to have any value, they must be usable or in other terms provide a good user experience. In my opinion, they do.Watch
