The Ooni Koda 2 Pro is a powerful, larger-than-average gas pizza oven with a generous 18-inch cooking space. The oven can comfortably handle bigger items, including large roasting trays, giving it more flexibility than smaller pizza-only models. That extra capacity does come with trade-offs, though. It’s very heavy and isn’t designed to be left outdoors year-round, with no cover included. It also doesn’t function as a barbecue or smoker, and no cleaning tools are supplied. If you have the outdoor space to store it properly and want a high-capacity gas pizza oven, perhaps with an eye on having a few impromptu pizza parties over the course of a summer, it’s a strong option — but it is less suited to those with limited space or portability in mind.
