The Nitecore P27iX does that with a single press of a button. This isn’t just turning on a flashlight. Activating a short-burst “Lumin Shield” of 5,000 lumens, the P27iX delivers incredible illumination for both self-defense and quick scans of nighttime landscapes. This is one of the tactical capabilities that help set the P27iX flashlight apart from the crowd. But this flashlight has become a fav

And this is a really cool release from Nitecore, a P-series flashlight that now has variable beam patterns. Switching from flood to spot to mix is awesome. I know they have a few other flashlights such as the EX7 that does it, but not many. But this is the very first one in the P-series. I've been waiting for something like this.

This is a cool flashlight, man. Right there. This is totally customizable. And they say it on the box, actually, by that way. Um you can make it spot. You can make it flood. You can make it a mixed beam. You can make it uh different functions on all these buttons here. The tail, the engage, and the set button here. They're all different. And check these ceramic ball there. And look at this.

While DUV is not the primary factor in tactical performance, P27iX delivers a cleaner, more neutral white beam with a low DUV tint. This results in a more natural viewing experience, especially on light colored surfaces and during extended night time use, without compromising brightness or throw.

I stepped off the short trail from my campsite above Granby Lake in Colorado and pushed the tailswitch of the NITECORE P27iX . The smooth, modest light I’d used to navigate the rocky slope exploded in output, suddenly zapping into the night with an astounding 5,000 lumens.

Um I do like the holster on this. Um >> it's designed so that you can change the back on here. So, if you have a like a a duty belt and it's a 50 m 50 m a 50 mm or 2-in duty belt, um you can have it on there. But, if you have a smaller one, maybe it's a 40 mm, then you can move this up so that it can fit.

I do love doing the sneak peeks as well but uh this one here it's nice to be able to get it as a brand new release candidate before everybody else. That's kind of nice. Get everything out of here. And it's got that nice holster.

In my tests, the full charging time with the included Li-ion 21700 battery (5,500mAh) is excellent, at about 2 hours (via PD/QC adapter). The lighting function is available during charging, with the exception of LUMIN SHIELD®, SEARCH, and STROBE.

This is a amazing light. It is a very customizable light. And I did a video on this prior, and it got it was very very long, cuz I tried to go through all the settings and all the features, and it was like an hour and a half long. And I know nobody wants to watch review for an hour and a half. I try to keep my videos at most below 30 minutes, and even that's pushing it. So, here's a flashlight.

Guys, bottom line up front, I think the P27iX is a serious upgrade over the P23i. If you want beam flexibility, better configurability, and tougher feeling controls. For duty use, this makes a ton of sense. You get a normal working light interface on the bezel, tactical instant access controls on the tail, a hard lockout, a durable body, and emergency battery flexibility with the CR123 adapter.

While there are also differences in performance, the most important factor for me is the significantly improved user interface of the P27iX.

Very few products deserve the tactical moniker. This P27iX from Nitecore is one such great example because everything on it makes sense for its intended purpose. I mean, there is a physical button for almost everything, thus it's easy to use and it offers an insane level of versatility and performance.

This is one of the coolest lights I've seen in a long time. So, again, this is the P27iX from Nitecore. This gives you 5,000 lm at the max brightness. It has a max distance of 430 m. That is insanely far. It has an impact distance, so you meaning you can drop it of 2 m, which is more than the traditional like 1 m, 1 and 1/2 m that most flashlights offer.

Coming back to the flashlight, as usual from Nitecore, you get an excellent build quality and finish, and really highest quality product. This black anodized coating is really excellent. The flashlight feels truly solid in your hands, and we've got numerous interesting design features. Quite aggressive knurling optimized for wet hands grip in this spiral pattern looks quite attractive.

But today the P27iX which this light is absolutely fantastic. I like a lot about this and this really does scream performance. Now it's not exactly an EDC light. However, I have been carrying this as an EDC option. For me I do a lot of inspections. I need to really see often to the distance. I need good quality lighting in vast areas. This really checks a lot of boxes.
