Like, it's not going anywhere, which is nice and reassuring. So, we just stopped after another bit of a hike. Time for a bit of dinner. Um and it's time to try out the other feature of the Switch Stove, which is the little flappy out legs. Um I've already got this little flat thing that I believe came with a Primus stove.

My only criticism of the Switch is that the stove and water pot don’t lock together in the way that the Zip and many other backpacking stoves do. It’s a minor detail that might not bother some people, but I like the convenience of being able to move the pot/stove/fuel canister as one unit.

The only downside for some people may be that the pot does not lock into the burner head, so for the few people that like to suspend their stoves in the area eg, in-tent cooking during high altitude mountaineering, then this stove may not be for you - however I don't think people using a stove in that environment would use something like this and would likely be using a proper liquid fuel, remote
