Trying to make my hts dollars stretch, upgrading from a Nr1711, with plans to keep the system 5.1.2,( polk es20 mains,es30 center,es15 rears, es12 subwoofer,es90 height modules) but add stereo rca output to a set of patio speakers, (repurposed old marantz ma500 amps to drive a pair of polk atrium 8's) I love the nr1711, does everything I need it to do.

Seriously Into Audio Since 1974 Article

After installing the NR1711 and dual Paradigm Premium speakers I can categorically say the NR1711 lacks any semblance of punch, audio dynamics, low-volume EQ separation or any other nominal audio outputs that Marantz advertises. Don't buy this unit unless your goal is to own a nice radio with multiple HDMI outlets.

This 7.2 channel 8K receiver from Marantz may not be the BEST av receiver on the market, but it’s slim format, exceptional build quality and moderate price may be all the home theater receiver you really need. We loved both our KEF Q750 and Monitor Audio Bronze to be the best speakers for Marantz receiver.
