The Cinema 70s that I replaced the older, more powerful 5.1 ch Marantz amp with, might seem an odd choice considering that it's the cheapest, smallest modern series AV receiver in Marantz's entire lineup. It only has 7.2 channels at a nominal 50W per channel (but that's more likely to be closer to 35-40W on each channel with ALL channels driven).

I just purchased a Marantz Cinema 70s as an upgrade for a dead denon x1700h , and having some problems. I can't get above 1080p from my ps5 on ANY input from the Marantz , but I can get 4k/60 connecting directly to my formovie theater projector , but then even with eARC: I get no sound.
