Most ‘portable’ projectors force us to choose between resolution, color accuracy, and painless setup — the LG CineBeam Q HU710PB tries to flip that script by packing TRUE 4k , a 3‑channel RGB laser (up to 154% DCI‑P3 ), Auto Screen Adjustment, and Auto Focus into a genuinely compact body with a rotating carry handle.Read F

I regret buying the CineBeam Q, as its sound quality is terrible, and Bluetooth connectivity has an unbearable 2-second delay, making it impossible to watch movies. The lack of Chromecast or Wi-Fi audio support is infuriating, and even an HDMI-to-AUX converter failed to work with my Beosound speakers. A complete waste of time and money.Watch T
The LG CineBeam Q can stream movies and TV via the WebOS UI, or you can hook up a console, streamer etc via HDMI or USB. Either way you can enjoy 4K visuals, with bright and clear output even in a fairly well lit room. This mini marvel is certainly one of my favourites for the picture quality, if not the audio.Watch H
The LG CineBeam Q delivers superior image quality with true 4K UHD resolution (3840x2160) and 500 ANSI lumens brightness, compared to the Aurzen ZIP's 720p resolution and 100 ANSI lumens. The difference is especially noticeable with text, fine details, and larger screen sizes.Read A

I am satisfied with the black display and contrast. Which screen can I use to get the best image from this projector? I am currently using a matte white motorized screen.View post A

Watch T Tech Tested Tech Tested · 3.1K subscribers · Apr 2026
With the CineBeam Q, the experience is more consistent when the setup is right, but less forgiving if the environment isn't ideal. So it comes down to how you plan to use it. If you want something you can move around and use in different lighting conditions without much setup, the Halo Plus makes more sense. If you care more about a compact design and a cleaner image in a controlled space, the LG CineBeam Q is the better option.Watch H
While the LG CineBeam Q 4K UHD Portable Laser Projector offers better image quality, it requires external power which limits outdoor placement options unless you bring a power bank.Read S

Small and portable projector and the price is absolutely 💯 👌 🔥 Great for evenings but minus are speakers. I have 2x boombox 3 and this portable projector is exactly what i need.Watch M
The LG's biggest advantage over other ultra portable projectors is its 4K resolution with support for HDR10 and HLG HDR, high dynamic range. This feature made a huge difference in picture quality, especially when watching movies, which I watched on a 92 in 1.1 gain Stewart filmcreen sema matte white projection screen. The brightness of the LG Cinebeam Q was another surprise.Watch M
