Now first of all, I think they both did a great job on hard surface floors. I put a bunch of hair, dirt, dust, debris, crushed cereal in a pile on the floor, vacuumed up everything, and they both did a really good job with that. So as far as performance on hard surface floors, right out of the bat they both did a great job. Looking at them side by side, they are very similar vacuums.

You're going to open your box and you're going to see it comes in a small box with all the pieces and they all basically just click together and it's ready to go uh really quick. Both of these do a really good job. So, I've used them on hardwood floor and also carpet. They do really well. They're obviously very similar in terms of performance. So, our household has three dogs and two cats, so I really put these through the test in terms of pet hair and just a lot of dirt.

The Lavoy Elvac 200 is a fantastic stick vacuum with great battery life and plenty of power. It's an amazing value. In the box, you do get the vacuum, an extension wand, and there's also the roller brush. It also includes these two tools. And what's great about this brush tool is it's also a crevice tool. So, that's one less thing you have to keep track of.

However, as is often the case at this price point, it's a bit more challenging on short-pile carpets. Even using the lowest suction setting, the movement was less fluid. Nevertheless, overall, the weight of the vacuum cleaner is well distributed, and the handle provided a good grip for turning the vacuum on. A large on/off button is located on the front, easily accessible with your thumbs.

I just felt like the Bissell just has a stronger suction and can pick those things up a little bit quicker and better. And when it comes to the noise level on these, I was very impressed with the Bissell over here. The Lavoy isn't loud, but this Bissell over here is pretty quiet. I'm going to insert a clip so you can see how they sound. And these both have LED lights.

But, with the Levoit one, you have to actually press the button to dump it out and empty it in the trash can. With the Shark one, what's really cool is anytime you set it on top of the charging base, it'll actually empty itself out automatically. And there's a pail on the back of it that you can pull off. You can dump this in a trash can every once in a while.
