Genuinely decent build per Techlicious, which is why it ranks above the other traps, but Wirecutter's current testing chose the Syitren R300 instead. Buy the Syitren R300.

Flagged as a product to avoid

1 of 2 research runs entered this as a product to avoid rather than a pick.

The Amazon best-seller every portable shopper cross-shops, but Wirecutter's current testing passed it over for the Syitren R300 as favourite portable, and community feedback is merely pleasant-surprise rather than enthusiastic. It is the coasting incumbent.

But guess what, paired like a charm. Rechargeable battery so no need to plug in, though you can with USB input for long trips. I’m pretty happy!

KLIM Nomad. Now, I got this for a really good bargain. Uh so, it wasn't the price that it was selling for. But, this is one hell of a good speaker.

This player does have decent sound quality. The EQs are pretty good. They're not the best, but you get a decent sound. And usually I listen with either these headphones or these headphones. And so far I've only used my cost portaro headphones and also my Soul Republic headphones.
