Best overall: Janome HD3000. The mechanical machine we would buy ourselves. A solid body, smooth feed, and Janome stitch quality make it feel a class above the price, and 18 stitches with a one-step buttonhole cover everything most sewists do. It is the one to get if you want a mechanical machine you will not need to replace. Read the full Janome HD3000 review .
