And the machine comes across as carefully engineered to produce the best tasting food, as opposed to the quickest and easiest. Not being an expert cook, I know I’ve got some learning to do. But on the other hand, the guesswork is mostly taken out of the cooking process , and the machine anticipates what you might overlook.

I am totally loving the whole look. Now, let's open the lid. On the lid, I do find a few things different from the other Instant Pot models. So, here's the steam release valve. There is a cover over the steam release valve. So, it's called the steam release cover. And here is the steam release valve. And here is the steam release pipe.

Pressure cooking is lightning fast. A whole chicken in 35 minutes. Fall off the bone ribs in 25. Perfect rice every time. The Neutra Boost feature actually makes soups and stews taste deeper and richer, like they simmered for hours. The extra power means less waiting to come to pressure, sometimes under 6 minutes. Clean up is stupid easy.
