If you’re looking for a configurable action camera, the Insta360 Go Ultra really scratches that itch. The 52g action camera itself detaches from the base unit, called the Action Pod, which is similar to the DJI Osmo Nano , and offers similar versatility.Read U

Overall been pretty satisfactory for an action cam. It’s miles better than the Go 3. The square cam is a little awkward in the beginning coming from the pill, but I got used to it pretty fast, doesn’t bother me as much I thought it would be.Read thread I
This feels like a much more premium camera than any of the previous versions. There's so much stuff new about this.Watch S
It’s very discrete – great for those that don’t want to ride around announcing their magnificent (wannabe) YouTuber status – but captures high quality footage, irrespective of conditions, without me having to do much.Read L
Real quick, I was impressed with this little camera capturing such clean images after dark from such a small camera. And as you can see, no gimbal was needed. This is our new new Instant 360. Now, this is what we came for. So sick. Open road. A couple of dudes that go way back and are now entering their one-third life crisis. We rode and rode and rode through everything Vietnam could throw at us.Watch T
If presentation counts for anything, first impressions straight out of the box were schmick and honestly, I’m all for it. I received the GO Ultra running bundle in Arctic White, but it also comes in Midnight Black.Read T
This is genuinely like the most versatile camera you can buy. Whether you're shooting landscape, vertical, you're attaching it to any one of the what feels like millions of Insta 360 accessories, although this is probably my favorite. Pop it in there. Pop that on there with Insta3's quick release system. Make sure they're both connected. And actually, you can just take it off like that.Watch D
It’s an exceptionally well-built, beautifully designed little piece of tech. The attention to detail is obvious, and you immediately understand why Insta360 has built such a strong reputation.Read B
I think I've just found the best camera companion for my iPhone, and it's this thing right here, the Insta3 Go Ultra. Not only is this thing tiny, but it can also shoot video in 4K 60 with HDR. It has fine My builtin. It has a 2.5 in flip out screen, and it's magnetic, so you can easily mount it. And there's much more.Watch R
Insta360 recently added to its GO series of lifestyle-oriented action cameras with the GO Ultra — a more powerful addition to the series that solves many of the drawbacks of previous models.Read P
When you compare to any other action camera, this thing is not going to be fallen behind. Basically, this is the action camera right here, and this is what they would call the action pod. And I want to say this is around the size of a typical action camera. But what makes the Go series so unique is you can pop this part out and then basically significantly reduce the size of this.Watch T
What’s more, DJI has finally launched a competitor at a much lower price, making the Go Ultra’s issues hard to ignore, and arguably poor value for money.Read D

The Go Ultra is a super versatile, wearable camera, but it's also usable just like a regular action camera. And there's a huge leap in performance with the Go Ultra. So, if you want the best spec, the best quality, you need to go for the Ultra. If you want something that's just super discreet, nice and small, it's going to be more lightweight than this one, then this is the one to go for. Me personally, I would want like the best spec possible in like this form factor. So, it would be a no-brainer which one I would go for.Watch G
The Insta360 Go Ultra manages to meet and even beat other cameras twice its size.Read E
That magnetic mounting system is honestly one of the biggest selling points of this camera. It just makes everything effortless when it comes to shooting video. And that's just the camera itself, but you've also got the action pod. This adds a touchscreen, extra battery, and wireless controls.Watch I r/Insta360 u/inkyan · owner
Still learning the camera, but it’s been a fun addition to my kit.Read thread R
Looking at the sideby-side comparison here, the Ultra looks more natural. It has clearer skies, a natural white balance compared to the warmer yellowish colors of the Go 3S. And if we turn around here, we can also see the results of a much improved sensor. Taking a look at the sky here, for example, in the foreground, the Go 3S lacks overall details in the foreground as well as the sky.Watch R
And um whether or not this is a camera that I can recommend if you're looking for your first or second action camera as an additional sidekick to whatever camera you use, I'm just going to say this is a fantastic camera. So, let's start with the pros.Watch R
I must say it's definitely one of the easiest cameras to use if you want to capture videos and movements like these that you just saw and still get better image quality compared to other smaller cameras in the same category. But what makes this camera so great and uh what makes it really bad? Some people have mixed feelings about this camera.Watch L
Okay, first of all, I got to say that the Go Ultra is Insta360's strongest pocket camera yetWatch G
And the Go Ultra keeps doing things that neither of those two cameras can do. So today I want to show you exactly what those things are because I think that most people buy this camera are only using about half of what it can actually do. So let's get started with some context.Watch O
It's one of my personal favorite cameras.Watch O
It's still quite attractive and the small size and low weight is great to place it just about anywhere. The small size is also ideal for users who want to be more discreet when recording videos or if you don't want to draw a lot of attention if you're vlogging for example. There are two light indicators, one in the front and this other one at the top which you can turn off if you want to.Watch T
What I like more about the Go Ultra is that say you're vlogging and you're talking to the camera, you've got the screen up. If you wanted to quickly turn it around to film something in front of you, you could just tilt the screen back like this. Whereas with the Nano, you would have to take it off, then turn it around, and then you can see what you're filming.Watch W
It's what I reach for every time I want POV content, travel, and behind the scenes, genuine unplanned moments. And this new version, 4K 60 frames per second with 4K slow motion, pure video mode, fantastic for low light. Magnetic, so you can stick it anywhere. Finally, removable SD card, so you don't have to have any storage limits. The mic quality and the wind reduction works super well.Watch N
The camera that I use, which is this Insta 360 Go Ultra over here, my new go-to camera.Watch N
I'm personally a big fan of this. You can use just regular micro SD cards. I actually kind of prefer just ejecting the SD card and plugging that straight into my computer rather than using a USB cable and connecting it to the camera itself.Watch C
I've genuinely loved using both of these cameras, but I do think there are things that set them both apart, which are important to talk about. So, if you want to see the first video I did about the Go Ultra, link that in the description.Watch G
This tiny little camera is super versatile and very capable of capturing some incredible footage, especially if you have the right settings. So, let's explore some of the general settings that I recommend first. So, we want to swipe down here and we want to click on the gear icon right here. You want to do is you want to scroll down and you want to make sure your video encoding is set to H.265.Watch C
So recently I've been testing new cameras which is what I'm using right now to film which is the Insta360 Go Ultra and guys honestly it changed so much on how I'm able to vlog alone. So today I wanted to share a little bit of how I vlog alone, how I set up shots, creative shots, and how I make it look like someone else is filming me when I'm all by myself.Watch C
If you guys watched my previous videos, you guys already know I love the Insta360 Go Ultra, but guys, they just came out with a Hello Kitty version. Oh my gosh guys, like can we take a moment for this beautiful camera? Oh my gosh. So, they sent me the limited Hello Kitty edition and I am so freaking excited because I love Hello Kitty. I love pink.Watch A
This entire camera itself only weighs about 53 g, and what I truly adore about this camera is that you can detach the main camera itself from its action pod. And this teeny tiny camera right here is not only magnetic, but it's waterproof, which means you can submerge this underwater, still record your travel vlogs, things of that nature. However, the action pod itself is not waterproof, so girl, dWatch J
It might look small, but the upgrades this year are actually pretty massive.Watch A
So, I've been using this camera for almost 4 months now, and I can say that this is a perfect daily camera. Well, obviously, the first thing you will notice is the size. You can actually put this inside your pocket and shoot whenever you want. And for someone who just started vlogging, I think this is a perfect camera because it's so small.Watch M
The stabilization is surprisingly impressive for something this small. A lot of the walking footage that I took almost looks like it was shot on a gimbal. Another thing I really like is how quickly you can start filming.Watch R
And the beauty of this little thing is you can just connect it to anything, get your shot, and go, which allows you to get really cool sequences like this. Now, I'm not saying that one is necessarily better than the other because the image quality is clearly better on something like the R5 and the uh Pocket 3. But as somebody that procrastinates, extra friction that gets in the way of creativity jWatch X

This has been a fantastic camera and there are way more things that I do like. Um, but after about a week or week and a half of using this, I'd say fairly extensively.Watch C
It shoots in 4K, it has pretty solid in-camera audio, you tell you tell me if that's true, and incredible stabilization, which makes it start to look like a must-have camera for all creators. And yet we know that no piece of gear is truly one size fits all. So after keeping this thing on me for nearly 7 months straight, I can confidently say that it's not actually for everyone. But it did take meWatch F
This is Insta 360's new Go Ultra, and it could be one of the most versatile cameras you can use when you're riding or for that matter doing any adventure sport.Watch A
We can do 4K 60, which is amazing. We have a much bigger sensor which is going to give us way better low light video and just an overall better video in in literally any setting. Inside here we've got some the camera, the action pod, safety cord clips, pendants, cables, all the jazz.Watch A
Getting your POV shots is effortless. Record your POV through your eyes. Just let this be on your chest and do what you normally do and have it record, so you're not looking at a screen the whole time. Like I said, it can mount on your chest, it can mount on your hat, it can mount on a metal object.Watch D
This is why you should take photos with the Insta360 Go Ultra. So, let's begin the video now. So, we're currently shooting on 4K 30 frames per second, standard video mode, standard stabilization with the HDR on at this moment in time. And we're going to be going to a variety of different shooting locations.Watch D
And I personally think this camera is really beneficial for a lot of people. And here's kind of the explanation as to why. With such a small compact size, you can record in qualities up to 4K 60 frames per second. I think that's really fantastic. But I like to use 4K 30 frames per second. That's just my personal opinion. But the versatility uh flexibility of this camera allows you to elevate yourWatch B
It's securely attached here, and you never feel like the camera might fall off. This is the easy magnetic clip. This little click sound is so satisfying! lol And here's the quick-release safety rope for added peace of mind ʕ´・ε・`ʔ And of course, action pod!Watch S
Insta360 GO Ultra has just got perhaps the most mind-blowing firmware update among all the firmware updates I've ever seen for any action cameras. Now, Insta360 allows to use GO Ultra as a tiny AI voice assistant, the full-scale voice assistant, not the one like "Hey Google", but actually the one that will really help you to solve any of your questions, any of your problems. Hey Kira. I'm here.Watch V
I can already tell that this camera is perfect for capturing unusual angles, especially as a solo vlogger! All 3 included in the creator bundle. Can't wait to test everything outside! Let's get it ready. Hello~ from the go ultra! Let's go to a café! One thing I'm going to turn off right away is the watermark.Watch J
This little camera has become one of my favorite purchases this year. Besides its size, the Go Ultra shoots good video, offers decent battery life, and has a ton of available accessories that can work for almost any shooting scenario. The Go Ultra has so many pluses, but it does have its limitations.Watch O
The GO 3 Ultra made powerful improvements over the GO 3S, both pioneering advanced video making in the most compact factor possible. To save you some time, here's my honest quick verdict of this camera after using it for 4 months. If you are hoping this camera will replace your mirrorless, it won't. And it's not trying to be that. It's also not fighting GoPro or DJI either.Watch J
I'm actually loving the way that I can hold this with the screen flipped up kind of like I'm looking down at my uh director's monitor. I don't have to like keep it straight in front of me. Have it angled down. Get that shot. Look at that cityscape. I mean, that just looks so good. And we're at the gym, guys. We are on the Insta 360 Go Ultra. We are 4K 24. Everything's pretty much auto.Watch B
All right, so one of the things I love about this camera is that it's compact enough for everyday carry. If you're into EDC and you shoot a lot of YouTube stuff, this is really kind of cool because like I said, it's small, lightweight, compact enough to carry in my pockets every day. So, anytime I leave the house, this thing is almost always in my in my pocket.Watch D
I love how I can take this camera out and not even have to worry about running out of battery. All right, so also with the new update, we can now shoot in log format. So what the log is is basically it lets you shoot in a flat color profile without any contrast saturation baked into the video. So you end up with a footage that doesn't have any processing.Watch D
I love the concept of a removable camera that's this thin and this small, that can just go anywhere, and then having a live feed. So, at any point I can see what's going on, change modes, record, do whatever. And I love the fact that the camera itself is magnetic. So, I can magnetically connect it up to a car, pole, any sort of metal surface that's magnetized, we're going to be fine.Watch R
So, it's really no big deal. In fact, it's a plus that it doesn't just it would be cool if it also had integrated memory, but that's fine. I have one TBTE. I'm probably never going to have to take out the card or change it.Watch

Serious photographers won't get much out of it, I'm sure. But there's something really nice about tucking a waterproof, mount-anywhere camera into your pocket.Read T
So, first up, the Insta 360 Go Ultra isn't by any means the most compact action cam out there, but still dinky enough that you can slip it into a pocket or bag if needed. As you can see, fairly chunky when you've got it fitted into the base. Weighs 160 g in this form. So, we've got a wee bit of a heft to it. What's the point of the Insta 360 Go Ultra if it's not a pill-sized action camera and it's now larger? It's like it looks like an ordinary action camera. What's the point of getting this? So, I do wish that the Go Ultra quick release was just more streamlined, just among the camera models, but also among Insta's other products. Also, for the Go 3S and the Go Ultra, the quick release does attach to the camera unit itself, but it's kind of in an awkward position.Watch I r/Insta360 u/marsfotog · owner
the iPhone is going to be hard to beat for outright 4k image quality, but it has many potential downsides.Read thread O
I really like the extra tally light at the top of the camera and Insta3 chose not to put the brand in the front so it has a cleaner design, but the shape of the Nano is a bit more practical if you need to place it on a flat surface. This matters because the orientation of your video depends on the position of the camera. So if I place them like this, they are going to record in horizontal mode.Watch J
Even though the Ultra is bigger, look how small that screen is. The screen on the Nano is much smaller. So, when you're looking, if you're a little older like me and your eyesight may not be nearly as good, this may be a little harder to see, whereas this is nice and big. The next category is storage and workflow. Now, this is a biggie for me.Watch G
It is an added step, unfortunately, but as you can see here on the top here, you've got this little lens icon. If you do tap on that, you can go quickly into the lens setting. So, that's a nice part about it. However, if you go back to the standard lens, that icon disappears from the top.Watch
