And now they’re back with the Arc Lite, and this one immediately makes sense. It takes everything Gozney has been building toward with the Arc line and packages it into something simpler, lighter, and a whole lot easier to live with day to day. Same DNA, same intent…just dialed in for the kind of cooking that actually happens on a random weeknight. And you feel that shift the second you start thinking about using it. This isn’t the kind of oven you plan your weekend around, it’s the one you pull out on a Tuesday because it’s easy, quick, and doesn’t ask much from you. No overthinking, no production…just light it, cook, and eat.

While fans of the Gozney Roccbbox pizza oven or Gozney Arc XL review may favor larger models, the Gozney Arc Lite shines for those who want a compact, portable pizza oven that still reaches great temperatures.

One of Gozney’s most compact pizza ovens, the Arc Lite reached an ideal cooking temperature in an impressive 18 minutes. There’s no built-in temperature gauge, so it’s tricky to know when it’s ready to go (we used our own thermometer), but that was the only thing we could fault about its design, which we found robust and easy to use. The temperature eventually reached 459C during testing, providing enough heat to achieve some charring on the crusts and golden, melted cheese. All our toppings were well-cooked too, but turning the pizzas proved a challenge because of the small mouth opening.

The Gozney Arc Lite pizza oven fits high-end outdoor cooking into a compact, backyard-friendly design. I tested the Arc Lite alongside the larger Arc XL on my Florida patio over a month of regular use, hosting pizza nights, cooking steaks, and even baking desserts. What stood out immediately was the build quality. This feels like a premium product from the moment you open the box. It is also incredibly easy to get restaurant-quality results at home. For anyone short on space but still wanting serious performance, this is one of the best outdoor pizza ovens .

Another thing that the Arc Lite does well is it has a thicker pizza stone than competitors. A thick pizza stone is key for locking in heat to help crisp the crust and not drop in temperature between pies. The stone on the Arc Lite is 12 mm thick compared to competitors that are 10 mm or less. Like Gozney’s other ovens, the heat control knob is on the front of the Arc Lite. It’s a seemingly minor thing, but it’s a much better place for it. It’s inconvenient to have to reach to the back of the oven to adjust your temperature.

I’ve cooked on the Gozney Arc and the Ooni Koda 2, and the Arc Lite sits directly between the two in terms of what it offers. If you’re choosing between the Arc Lite and the Koda 2 right now, you’re looking at two compact propane ovens that are closer in capability than their different designs suggest. The Koda 2 is the more proven choice with a larger stone. The Arc Lite is cheaper, comes with a longer warranty, and is the better-looking oven by a clear margin.

The Gozney Arc Lite is the smallest oven in the brand’s range, weighing just over 12kg and taking up little more space than a typical air fryer. Despite its compact size, it feels solid, well-made and it’s tastefully understated with just a simple operating button; it would make an attractive addition to any outdoor setup. Its size makes it particularly well suited to balconies, patios and smaller gardens, and the light build means it’s easy to move and store.

In person, the Arc Lite looks every bit as premium as its bigger siblings and delivers the same confidence-inspiring build quality. Most importantly, it cooks like some of the best pizza ovens I've tested. It heats quickly, holds temperature beautifully, and turns out restaurant-quality pizzas like it's no effort. For anyone who has admired Gozney from afar, the Arc Lite is the perfect entry point into luxury pizza making.

The smallest pizza oven in the range, the Gozney Arc Lite weighs just over 12kg and takes up no more space on a worktop than a typical air fryer. What it lacks in size, however, it more than makes up for in quality. Like the rest of the Arc range, it’s easy on the eye, with clean lines and dark grey satin-finish bodywork, and it’s almost certain to be the centre of attention on the tabletop.

There’s not much I didn’t like about the Arc Lite : it’s easy enough to use and set up that it’s suitable for all cooking levels, while the stone cooking base can be cleaned easily after use. It’s also priced at an absolute steal given it gives you the same cooking capabilities as Gozney’s other pizza ovens at a fraction of the price.

For me, the Gozney arc lite takes the edge because the lateral flame ensures even heat distribution and makes all the difference when it comes to professional pizza-restaurant-worthy results. It also has superb heat retention, so you can make pizza after pizza without having to wait.

Giving yourself a 5-minute buffer, all told, you'll be ready to start making pizza within 30 minutes of cracking open the Arc Lite's box. Bigger pizza ovens like the Gozney Dome S1 or Ooni Koda 2 Max take anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour to preheat.
