Best Budget AMD Processor in 2026 🔥 AMD Ryzen 5 7500FWatch G
AMD has shaken up the budget gaming market with the release of the Ryzen 5 7500F. Early reviews reveal that this six-core processor consistently outperforms Intel’s Core i5-13400 and 13490F in gaming benchmarks, while coming surprisingly close to Intel’s higher-end i5-13600K.Read H
So, the Ryzen 5 part is priced much closer to the 12400F locally, likely making the Ryzen part a better deal for Aussies. But you know what is a great deal for everybody? This portion of the video has been sponsored by the Gigabyte MO27 Q28G, an excellent 1440p gaming monitor using a brand new primary RGB tandem OLED panel.Watch T
From a pure value perspective, stretching the budget to accommodate the 7500F makes sense – the CPU is significantly more powerful, benefits from higher-bandwidth memory, and, crucially, sits on a platform with a real upgrade path that could save money down the line.Read K
Despite the price, it still packs a relatively new Ryzen 7000 series CPU and then one of AMD's latest generation GPUs. So, you're not stuck with like all the last gen leftovers just to save some money and companies to clear stock. Compared to some of the high-end systems I've looked at recently, this one definitely sits on the more budgetoriented end of the spectrum.Watch B r/buildapc u/idkmaybeyoutellme · owner
That'll be fine. Any Ryzen 7000 non-X3D CPU is broadly in the same category of "this is good enough for 99% of gaming workloads", with the X3D chips being the last 1%.Read thread A
And by the way, I want to thank AMD for sending the Ryzen 5 7500F, not F, 7500X 3D. And I also want to thank you guys. You guys kind of bullied me into presenting 1440p results. And 1440p results for CPU benchmarks are usually well, they don't usually mean much because in most of the benchmarks, you're reaching a GPU bottleneck.Watch T
Within the context of this comparison, the 7500F does offer better value for this title given it costs only slightly more.Read C
Booting straight into Battlefield 6, this CPU is able to handle our And like gaming on 1440p overkill was really smooth and the CPU was holding up at around 85 to 90% leaving some slight head space for lower settings or a lower resolution for those frame rate maxers.Watch H

The 7500F is a strong 1080p and 1440p processor, so you've got plenty of good options, budget, mid-range, and even some newer releases. Let's quickly break down the best pick so you can choose the right card without overpaying. Let's start with the most budget friendly choices, the RX6600 and RX6600 XT. Both come with 8 GB of VRAM, which is still totally fine for 1080p in 2025.Watch T
With that in mind, today I'm going to be looking at the Ryzen 5 7500F. Let's get started. The Ryzen 5 7500F is a six-core 12-thread processor on socket AM5 with a base speed of 3.7 GHz. The 7500F will boost up to 5 GHz under the right conditions. The good news doesn't end there though. The Ryzen 7500F actually has a lot going for it.Watch T

The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F just ended that drama. That heavy knot every time a new title drops in your rig wheezes. Fans screaming, temps climbing, frames dipping. Exhausting. Imagine opening any game and it just flies. No tweaks, no excuses. Keep watching. Your next build is about to feel unfairly smooth. Then I dropped in the AMD Ryzen 57500F and everything got stupidly fast.Watch

Also as i pointed out 225 is faster CPU than Ryzen 5 7500F/7600. 7600X isn´t that much faster, but ran hotter and draws more power. 245K is bit let down compared to 14600K for gaming purely, but that review was also done longer time ago and Intel owners have said things have got slightly better from the early days when the reviews were done.Read B r/buildapc u/TacoEaterMaster · owner
