The 1Zpresso JX Pro S sits in the mid-upper segment of the manual grinder market. Check 1Zpresso's official site or authorized distributors for current regional pricing. The "S" version carries a modest premium over the standard JX Pro — worth it for anyone who regularly switches between brewing methods.

A 1Zpresso JX-Pro grinds 18g of espresso-fine coffee in around 30 seconds. A Timemore Chestnut C3 grinds 25g of V60-medium in around 35 seconds. A Porlex Mini, with its smaller 26mm burrs, takes closer to 90 seconds for the same dose. Espresso grinds are slower than filter grinds on every hand grinder.
