We were impressed with the flavor and the grill's ability to maintain a consistent temperature, even during a long smoking session. A bonus is the included grill cover to help you protect your investment. While this grill isn't going to get hot enough to sear, and it does take a while to preheat, we do think it is an unbeatable value.Read B

In my Z Grills 700D4E Pellet Grill review, I cover the main upgrades Z Grills made to their flagship pellet grill in 2022. With the new pellet cleanout system and PID temperature control technology, Z Grills offers great value for an entry-level pellet smoker.Watch F Facebook David Egan · owner

What I like about this grill so far is how many levels there is versus my uh Pit Boss over there. Um it only has two trays. And this has so much more cooking room than my Pit Boss, which I like. Uh the controller, pretty simple for smoke. And this is the one thing I love, the five increments. The Pit Boss, it only goes from 225 to 250. And it does not have a 275. That's so dumb.Watch F Facebook Donn Shinn · owner

This is probably one of my most favorite portable pellet grills. And they put a new P controller in it and it dials itself. It doesn't overshoot like a lot of other porta pel pellet grills do. And then it has to come work its way back down. Set it at 325. It just went to 325. In fact, it I I'm lying to you. It overshot by one degree. It went up to 326. Caught itself right back down the 320.Watch V
One of the things I like about the 700D3 is that the grill grates are porcelain coated and if you can't have stainless steel, then porcelain coated is the way to go. I bought it because of the promise of "set it and forget it" principle, and it mostly lives up to that without any hassle. Assembly was pretty simple. The build quality is decent but I wish the chamber door was built a little heavier. This is a great pit for a small family or for someone that wants to enter the Pellet Grill world of cooking BBQ without spending a lot of money to do so! Pretty straightforward. Now, I will say that it comes with two sets of assembly instructions. One is like the man instructions where it's got a couple pictures and it says the simple way. Um, but then it doesn't tell you what bolts and everything to use. And then there actual instructions on the manual. I highly suggest going in the manual and using that.Watch
