This is the most powerful 98 I’ve ever tested, full stop. While the previous version flexed quite a bit in the throat, the V8 is rock-solid. Both of them play pretty well, they definitely fit certain player type, and we'll see how they all go. What makes them a unique spin racket is that they're meant to hit with spin. Like if you don't apply spin, you just don't use them properly. They're meant to swing fully and reward you for that. While I feel rackets that are more categorized as power will kind of have you control your swing more.

I was using the 2020 ezone tour loved it but wanted more trajectory. Def gives that for sure. However I just cant connect with it so I decided last night I will put up for sale x 2 of them. Bought Tennis warehouse.

I think VCore 98 has less power, but it kind of gets it back from the higher launch angle. So, it's easier to play deep from shooting slightly higher above the net. The obvious trap is you might be surprised with its launch angle. This might take away your confidence. Your racket head speed will go down and uh your performance will follow will be worse.
