Ultimately, neither racquet is purpose-built for net play. Both can get the job done in typical transition situations, but the Pure Aero offers a bit more flexibility and forgiveness when touch, reflex, or last-second adjustments are required.

The 100 is also one of the most popular rackets, not just on tour, but maybe of all time across all levels. And currently on tour players such as Mickelson, Maro Rojan, De Young, Vanden, Zansko, and Vukich use this racket. Also, WTA players use both of these rackets. Leila Fernandez plays with the 98 and Bronzetti and Alexandraala play with the Babalot Pure Arrow 100.

The Pure Aero 100 is very similar (anyone who doesn't think of it as a power racket is kidding himself) but more controllable, and that's why it's more much popular with more advanced players.

I think both of these rackets look amazing, even though I'm a Pure Drive user, I think this new cosmetic on the 2026 Babolat Pure Aero looks amazing and I do think that the Babolat Pure Aero is the better looking racket.

Obviously, you get a tiny bit more control and a bit easier to hit flat with a slightly lower lounge angle, but to be honest, the differences in shape is not that far off. Uh, so in the prototype paint job, it was just hard to find the the 98. I had to uh count crosses.
