The XGIMI MoGo 4 offers better overall value despite its higher price, providing superior brightness, built-in battery, premium audio, and better image quality. The Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen costs less upfront but may require additional accessories like power banks for true portability. For most users, the MoGo 4's additional features justify the price premium.Read T

The best portable projector comes as the pint-sized XGIMI MoGo 4 laser. Small enough to hold in one hand, it takes its size from the MoGo series but swaps out the LED internals for a triple laser projector. This delivers a brightness boost to 550 lumens, as well as better colour saturation and deeper contrast versus the otherwise identical MoGo 4.Read K

The XGIMI MoGo 4 is significantly better for camping and outdoor use because it has a built-in battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of video playback without needing external power. Next, I measured their highest usable brightness, which I defined as having no compromises in fan noise and color accuracy error under 10. While the Epson came out on top, the most interesting result was that the XGIMI MoGo 4 which is advertised at 450 maximum lumens was slightly brighter than the more expensive XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser which is supposed to have 550 max lumens. But from a usable brightness standpoint there is basically no difference between the two.Read T

It's basically a dark room/night time projector only as you need at least 2000 to 3000 lumens to see in the daytime with moderate light bleeding in. This however only has 550. Curious to see when they will drop the mogo 5 and what kind of lumens that will pack because for the money i'd rather go jmgo's offerings. You get more lumens per dollar and better tech built in imo.Watch J
MoGo 4 Laser is smaller and lighter. And 1S is larger. But you can't go wrong with them. MoGo 4 Laser has battery built in. And both of them support 100 W PD power bank. 1100 versus 450 ANSI lumens. And 1S is more than 2x brighter. 56 versus 36 W. Both have the same power efficiency by using laser. They are the same with ultra wide color gamut. Perfect for HDR content. 1500 versus 1100.Watch K
Just wondering if this is paid advertising? I have the laser mogo 4 version and it is great for projecting on a ceiling to watch in bed - but the picture quality is not that great compared to my aging 2013 standard DLP bulb BenQ projector. For casting it is pretty bad as it is underpowered and can't take video over 1080p 60 frames per sec.Watch T
The downside is that premium features usually come with a higher price tag, which may make some buyers question whether the extra refinements justify the additional cost.Watch D

Unfortunately, while the MoGo 4 has nice image sharpness and color, as well as good sound, its peak brightness is a bit of a letdown in comparison. If your projection environment isn't on the darker side, you'll have to make do with a washed-out image, putting a bit of a damper on an otherwise well-designed and executed product.Read M

Hi, I just received today XGIMI Mogo 4 Laser Outdoor collection from Sunnysoft, but I have a huge issue, I can't get the projector to focus. I tried restarting, I tried firmware reset, I tried recalibration but every time I move it it loses focus. The whole image appears to be blurry, and text is painfull to read. I tried a white wall initially, then I assembled the projection screen. Same result.View post A
