The XGIMI MoGo 4 impressively demonstrates how much technology can be packed into a compact housing. It's not only easy to transport but also quickly ready for use. Whether for a movie night in the bedroom, camping in the garden, or a spontaneous round of Mario Kart with friends. Particularly impressive in the test was the combination of Google TV with real Netflix support, the powerful sound for its size, and the sophisticated design with ambient lighting and filter attachments. The automatic alignment works reliably, the picture quality is excellent in dark environments, and the integrated battery also adds real value.

I'm going to blast it onto this wall in other parts of the house because um it's one of my first reviews in the new space. So, this is obviously the successor to the Mo 3. They have two different options for the four. The traditional like LED version as well as the laser option.

There's a lot to like about the XGIMI MoGo 4 Laser Projector . It's incredibly compact, has built-in Google TV, and works with a variety of devices. Along with the projector's use as an ambient light or Bluetooth speaker, the creative filters are a nice touch that help expand its use cases beyond just video. Unfortunately, while the MoGo 4 has nice image sharpness and color, as well as good sound, its peak brightness is a bit of a letdown in comparison. If your projection environment isn't on the darker side, you'll have to make do with a washed-out image, putting a bit of a damper on an otherwise well-designed and executed product.

It's basically a dark room/night time projector only as you need at least 2000 to 3000 lumens to see in the daytime with moderate light bleeding in. This however only has 550. Curious to see when they will drop the mogo 5 and what kind of lumens that will pack because for the money i'd rather go jmgo's offerings. You get more lumens per dollar and better tech built in imo.

MoGo 4 Laser is smaller and lighter. And 1S is larger. But you can't go wrong with them. MoGo 4 Laser has battery built in. And both of them support 100 W PD power bank. 1100 versus 450 ANSI lumens. And 1S is more than 2x brighter. 56 versus 36 W. Both have the same power efficiency by using laser. They are the same with ultra wide color gamut. Perfect for HDR content. 1500 versus 1100.

Just wondering if this is paid advertising? I have the laser mogo 4 version and it is great for projecting on a ceiling to watch in bed - but the picture quality is not that great compared to my aging 2013 standard DLP bulb BenQ projector. For casting it is pretty bad as it is underpowered and can't take video over 1080p 60 frames per sec.

That makes round 2 the $499 XGIMI MoGo 4 on the left and the $439 Dangbei Freedo on the right. While there was only a small difference in their brightness, the Dangbei looked much more vibrant in bright content like golf and football, and all of the colors on the XGIMI MoGo 4 looked muted in comparison. In moderately lit content both projectors were nearly equal except for the XGIMI being shifted more towards blue and the Dangbei was more towards green, but the second any highlights showed up on the screen the Dangbei was noticeably better. Neither projector handled dark content well, so this round was another win for the Dangbei.

Hi, I just received today XGIMI Mogo 4 Laser Outdoor collection from Sunnysoft, but I have a huge issue, I can't get the projector to focus. I tried restarting, I tried firmware reset, I tried recalibration but every time I move it it loses focus. The whole image appears to be blurry, and text is painfull to read. I tried a white wall initially, then I assembled the projection screen. Same result.
