With the BRIGHTNESS ENHANCEMENT set to HIGH, I measured 2901 lumens, just over 300 lumens brighter than AWOL's published brightness. Just like almost every other DLP projector that uses a heavy-handed brightness enhancement mode, chasing maximum lumens introduces a noticeable greenish tint to the picture. It seems like a feature designed mostly to win spec sheet wars rather than for actual movie nights. That said, even if you back off the extreme settings to get a more accurate color balance, the Aetherion Pro appears to comfortably deliver a highly usable image that sits near the top of the current ultra-short throw market.
