Like the original Vari Electric Standing Desk, the Vari Curve Electric Standing Desk is one of our favorites. While it was our top recommendation for a bit there, this particular model has now been discontinued and replaced by the Vari Electric Standing Desk with ComfortEdge . It doesn’t have the same curve but it does have the waterfall edge the company first introduced with its Curve Electric Standing Desk.

It's sleek, easy to assemble, and forces us to stand, balance, and burn more calories than sitting on our bums all day! We did add the Vari Active Chair when we need a rest, but that's a workout as well.

The Vari electric standing desk comes from a company that built its reputation on standing desk converters before moving to full desks. That converter expertise shows in the design, which prioritizes ease of use above everything else. Their background in standing desk converters for ergonomic workstations means they understand the pain points of posture-switching furniture.

The goal is to improve my health and create more space to support a Fosi Audio based desktop audio system. I purchased a triple monitor arm to maximum desk space and flexibility and a cable tray to organize power for all electronics.

But for most users, the Ergo offers pretty much all of the functionality I need from a standing desk, with a lifetime warranty that takes the risk out of my purchase. I can find standing desks I like more on aesthetic grounds, or for specific use cases. But for now, it’s difficult to find a desk I like better for simple reasons.

If I had to pick one Vari desk for the average home office, it would be the Classic Electric Standing Desk 60×30. The combination of stability, fast assembly, and a 60-inch surface that fits most dual monitor setups makes it the sweet spot in Vari’s lineup.
