Just bought one and threw CoreELEC on it immediately (the p3i build I wanna say)… and wow, it’s amazing how much of a difference this thing makes for the audio and the video experience. I have a 5.1 setup and I currently own the latest ATV and the Nvidia Shield so I’m used to great audio with the Shield and a seamless experience on the ATV.

If it's for plex then get Ugoos AM6B+ and install coreelec software and you are good to go. The king of home theater local playback hardware players. Perfectly plays even dual layer Dolby Vision 7 FEL TV LED.

Like most things in life, I was completely oblivious to the AM6B Plus until I was confronted with a problem that forced me to do something I tried to avoid as much as I can, thinking. The problem in question was my aging Apple TV 4K, which started to show signs of wishes to retire after its nearly 9-year tenure.

Based on my research it seems the Ugoos AM6B + and AM9 Pro are the top 2 choices. Gonna get both as I'll just assign each to separate TVs in the house, and the AM9 Pro will only get more expensive with time.

#FINAL VERDICT: The Ugoos AM6B+ is the device to get if you want it all: FEL DV + Lossless audio, CMV4.0, Accurate colors, True TV-LED, MKV DV support. No major issue except that it seems to clip details over 4000nits(x800m2 too) but contents this bright, is rare.
