In our hands-on test, we let it roam in a medium-large yard and it handled the entire space with battery to spare. After mowing, it will automatically return to its base for recharging once the battery runs low, then can resume if needed for really big lawns. So unless you have an estate-sized property, the X7 Plus’s range should be plenty.

So, here's my verdict. The Sunseeker X7 is the real deal. It's not just a robotic mower. It's smart terrain conquering assistant for your yard. As you can see, the X7 handles up to 1.5 acres with ease, offering a cut height range from 0.8 to 4 in.

The SUNSEEKER X7 is rated for up to 0.75 acre of mowing area. That makes it a better fit for medium lots rather than large properties. If your yard routinely exceeds that size, it may need more sessions or pauses to finish.

I really like the principle here . Simply a separate power supply. The nearest power outlet is more likely to be closer than the robot's charging station. A technical implementation that I would like to see from other manufacturers as well, where the marine robots rely on RTK antennas to navigate through the garden.

It is a really good selling mower. The important thing with these is the all-wheel drive and the cut quality is what draws people to it. It's a dual disc. It uh has that the floating deck on the mower and it has a low profile which uh you know I was just saying that it can go underneath trees a lot better or underneath picnic tables and stuff like that.

What makes the Sunseeker X7 wireless robot lawn mower stand out for the price is how much of the mowing process it automates. It is designed for medium to large yards up to 3/4 of an acre. So once everything is set up, it handles regular mowing with very little input. That means you spend less time pushing a mower and more time enjoying a consistently maintained lawn.

Um, which actually is extremely good because this was uh pretty rough grass yesterday. Uh, and just get a feel for for how the machine navigated in um in difficult areas with lots of tree cover and uh it's managed that very well as well. So, you'll notice something a little bit unusual about the way the machine turns. Um, it's sort of backwards for a robot.

From my experience using it for 6 months, it's a strong mower with a few quirks you should know about. Key features that matter to me are wire-free navigation, real obstacle recognition, and traction that actually works on uneven turf. The X7 skips buried boundary wires and uses RTKGNSS, which is a local base station that locks in precise satellite positioning, so it knows where your lawn ends.
