The Mammotion Luba 3 AWD is a big, bold robot mower built for rough terrain. With models available for lawns from 1500m2 to 5000m2, the Luba 3 AWD takes rough terrain, muddy patches and steep slopes in its stride thanks to powerful all-wheel drive. Just don’t ask it to get too ambitious on soft ground, where it can churn up turf.Read A
The app lets you change the LUBA 3’s route settings, configure wildlife safety features, adjust blade speed, and more. There’s a lot to dig into, and even so, I think Mammotion does a good job of organizing everything so that the app isn’t intimidating or difficult to use.Read P
The Mammotion Luba 3 AWD turns out to be a lot more capable than expected, handling a rough, awkward yard surprisingly well, even if the app and setup aren’t always smooth.Read T
Once the lawn is down to the right height, the Luba 3 makes light work of keeping the lawn looking tidy if set to cut around twice a week in typical UK summer conditions.Read

One week in with my new Luba 3, I have to say if you put in the time, watch the videos, heed the advice from Mammotion as well as this group which i found to be extremely positive unlike some groups I've now got perfectly cut lawns all saved as tasks which I can choose to run or not depending on growth throughout the week. Game changer to get my time back for other tasks.Read T
No bulky wires, no installation, 360° LiDAR dual camera vision, this is the next generation of lawn care that gardeners like me have been waiting for.Watch S
The answer is yes—aggressively. The LUBA 3 is rated for 38.6 degrees (an 80% grade), and independent testers have pushed it beyond 45 degrees on wet January grass with minimal slippage. Its all-wheel-drive system, full suspension, and paddle-tread rear tires generate traction that makes traditional AWD robot mowers look like shopping carts.Read B
10 out of 10. Very good. >> Welcome to Bill's HowTo. Today we're going to be testing out the allnew Luba 3 from Motion, which is a premium robotic lawn mower with a premium price tag. We're going to test it out and see just how well it works, who it's designed for, most importantly, if it's actually worth the money. Let's get straight into it, guys. Let's do this.Watch S
I watched one in operation several years ago and I was quite impressed! It cut right at the edge of it's programmed perimeter and then returned to the charging station, parking on it perfectly! When it only has to trim a little from everywhere it seems to do a great job in looking consistent.Watch W
This is pretty awesome if you have sandy ground, lots of hills, or if you're in like a cabin type experience here. You can see in the background it's early spring. Uh we are up north in Michigan. We don't have a lot of grass at this point time, but we're getting there. It's going to warm up quick and this lawn is going to fill in quite fast.Watch F Facebook Ellie Maher · owner
30 day review Luba 3-1500=Love It! What a game changer and the lawn looks great! I’ve got the fenced backyard scheduled to mow every 3rd day and do the front yard on a similar schedule when I’m around to handle the gate. Got lots of tips from this Mammotion community that I put into practice.Read F
I've only been able to use this mower for a few weeks, but it has been pretty incredible. I've had no issues with positioning or with the mower getting stuck. The previous version, this path that I'm taking it on right now from the backyard to the front yard, it would not be uncommon for it to get stuck.Watch C
The Luba 3 AWD is clearly designed for homeowners who have given up on robots in the past because of steep hills or complex landscaping. During the live demos this thing handled extreme inclines and obstacles with the kind of agility you usually only see in high end drones.Read M
This thing feels more like a Tesla figuring out your lawn with the combination of that lidar, the vision, and the network RTK. Those three combined together, it's just a beautiful machine that navigates your lawn with so much more precision than really honestly any other robot lawnmower that I've tested to date. So, that's saying a lot. And this is the fourth generation of the Luba.Watch F Facebook Article

One of the things that surprised me most was how simple the setup process was. For years, robotic mowers required perimeter wires buried throughout your yard. Nobody wants to spend a weekend digging trenches before they can even mow. With the Luba 3, setup is almost shockingly simple. There are no boundary wires. There isn't even an RTK base station required.Watch T
If you accept a slightly steeper learning curve in exchange for advanced Tri-Fusion mapping necessary for heavy canopy and extreme slopes, you would deploy the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD. (For our detailed analysis, see the Lab Test Verdict).Read S

This will be the fourth robo mower that I've reviewed from Mammotion and I have been consistently impressed with the quality of their products. And so we're going to see if this year's flagship, which is the Luba 3 all-wheel drive, um will be a serious upgrade to the Luba 2 all-wheel drive that I've been using for the last couple of seasons. So we're going to dive in today.Watch E
If you have been searching for a premium wire-free robot mower and want something that pushes beyond the usual RTK-only limitations, the LUBA 3 AWD deserves to be right near the top of your shortlist.Read P
>> All right, so initial impressions just off of the mapping, the setup, and the mowing of this section of grass, I got to say it's pretty impressive. The Luba 3 is a hands-off machine in this aspect in that I set it to map, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I set it to mow, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Now, this is a best-case scenario.Watch R
After spending weeks testing this machine on everything from gentle grades to punishing hills, we can confidently say this robot mower is a game-changer for complex lawns.Read R
So, it's got three mechanisms now for navigation and obstacle avoidance while the Luba 2 only had two of them. Um there are some small changes on the underside of the cutting deck geometry and also the cutting discs.Watch N

Again, very easy installation. And you use common sense when you tighten these. And of course, the same on the other side. It is a right and left with these ones, so just make sure you put it on the right side. And the last thing is just to install one of the two keys. The charger got a completely new design. And it has these different connecting points.Watch P

You will not believe how epic this robotic mower is. This is from Mammotion, the Luba 3 all-wheel drive. I mean, the proof is in the pudding here, you guys. But I will say even before we even open that box, this Luba 2 has by far been the best lawn mower that I have ever had. This thing has made me saved me so much time and energy. I have not had to cut the grass. This thing's been sitting here like this charging all winter long. Remember, of South Georgia, it doesn't get that cold. And uh just waiting waiting its time.Watch R

I think they really love it. It is incredibly intuitive. Actually, there's even this cheat sheet is a quick start guide. It just goes through everything. You lay it out, it talks through every single thing that has to be done. And once you get all that stuff lined up, then you can, you know, really get to mowing.Watch S
For a half-acre-plus or steep yard, step up to the LUBA 3.Read T
Compared to older robot mowers, you're up and running pretty quickly. So, this is our friends' property, and whilst they've got all them beautiful features, they've only actually got one practical outdoor power point. In fact, the charger has to live in a sheltered courtyard area tucked right up against the building.Watch N
And it's safe to say that this little machine here is an absolute beast.Watch W
It's all-wheel drive for starters, and man, that really works.Watch T
Setup is super easy. Place the mower upside down in its packaging, attach the side bumpers, remove the blade guard, fit the front bumper, and secure with the two screws. And finally, insert the security key. Install the charging station somewhere flat and close to power, plug it in, dock the mower. The side LEDs will light up red to show it's charging, and then attach the rain cover.Watch M

This is the most rugged and heaviest lawn mower that I have had up to this point. It's got a lot of batteries in it because it has to power a very powerful 10 tops chip AI-enabled chip that's twice the speed of the Luba 2. This chip in here is twice the speed of the Luba 2 and I can't even tell you how much faster it is than the Luba 1.Watch D
I didn't expect this, but the Mammotion Luba 3 All Wheel Drive might be the most polished robot mower setup that I've ever used. And it cuts way faster than I ever thought possible. So, I've reviewed a few robot lawn mowers over the past year, and I have to say I've really enjoyed my experience with the Mammotion Luba 3 All Wheel Drive.Watch T
The body style has remained the same, and the body style's been really reliable for me navigating the garden. But this year there are six different versions of the Luba 3. Those versions largely depend on whether you need to cut short grass or long grass, and then three different versions depending on the size of property you need to cut.Watch T
This whole process was uneventful in a good way. The electronics are very responsive. My phone picked up the Bluetooth right away, and the app does a really good job of guiding you through the process.Watch R
It is a brilliant machine and it's so much more polished than what we were dealing with in 2023.Watch Z
So, the Luba 3 says it can do an 80% slope. That's 38.6 degrees. That's steep enough so that most adults can't really comfortably walk up it without using their hands or leaning forward. A good visual reference is a typical staircase is about 30 to 35 degrees. So, we're talking a little bit steeper than that.Watch R
We just want to have a look inside it, so where initial thoughts, I'm pretty impressed. The improvements they made are phenomenal. They just get better and better, aren't they? I I agree, and we'll start. One, this is a 15-A battery, so we're not sure if the 10,000 is a big one or not yet, but >> No, we haven't got the specifications.Watch A
My lawn is being maintained without me constantly thinking about it. Instead of waiting until the grass looks out of control, dragging out a mower, and losing part of the day, I can keep it on a regular schedule, two or three times a week, and let it stay ahead of the growth.Watch R
I was able to test it on slopes of up to 80% which is the maximum it can handle and it performs quite well on 70% slopes. Beyond that, it may slip a little if the ground is dry, but otherwise it's very impressive when climbing. It also avoids obstacles, objects like trees. If you have dog toys or soccer balls lying around, it will easily navigate around most objects.Watch R
The big novelty is that here, we can go up to 1 m per second. Before, we were limited to 0.6 m per second. Now, we can go much faster.Watch R
It's crazy how well it still cuts. I set the blade rotation speed to strong mode. It's also not very noisy. It missed a small strip in the middle, but it hasn't finished yet. I think it's going to come back to it. Yes, it's going back. It's cutting the grass it missed. On the map, we can see what has already been mowed and what still remains. Since the ground is very wet, that's normal.Watch T
Compared to the 2025 models, the Luba 3 AWD performs much better and more accurately. The whole system works through the collaboration of the LAR sensor, the camera, and the net RTK function which was already partially present in the 2025 model, the so-called triusion system, which is supposed to ensure enormous accuracy.Watch H
What makes the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD worth every penny is the Trifusion navigation system that combines technologies no other consumer robot mower currently matches. A 360° LiDAR with 230 ft range, Net RTK GPS corrections for centimeter-level positioning, dual camera AI vision for object recognition, all-wheel drive on four independent motors, and 80% slope climbing capability.Watch S
First off, I have installed and tested every update released so far on your behalf, and truth be told, I haven't encountered a single issue yet. I did have one update go a bit awry with the Luba Mini 2 though. With the Luba 3, however, I can't say the same. Everything seems to be running very smoothly so far. The mowing performance remains excellent. I certainly have no complaints there.Watch S
Compared to the 2025 models, the Luba 3 AWD performs much better and more accurately. The whole system works through the collaboration of the lighter sensor, the camera and the net RTK function, which was already partially present in the 2025 model, the so-called trifusion system, which is supposed to ensure enormous accuracy.Watch S
And I can already tell you in advance, it has turned out to be a really good device. How it performed in the test, you'll find out right here in the video, as always divided into different categories.Watch B
Overall, the Luba 3 AWD leverages impressive technology to deliver precise navigation, robust off-road ability, and efficient, intelligent cutting across diverse and challenging landscapes. Next, let's consider the physical parts of the Luba 3 AWD, from its construction to the overall value it presents as a long-term investment.Watch S
I want one for home and I want one for here at the farm to just save me a lot of time when it comes to cutting grass and Mammotion are top of the list when it comes to brands that you want to be buying. So, I'm very grateful they've sent us out their top of the range model. I think this thing is going to blow mine and your minds with some of the features that it's got.Watch S
The Luba motion Luba 3 solves both of those problems. We're going to show you why plus more. All right, let's just do a quick unboxing then so I can show you what's in this box as I take it out. This company claims that this is the world's first robot lawn mower that has trifusion on it. So, what does the company mean by trifusion? Three things that help it navigate. They all work together.Watch M
And after spending time testing a number of premium flagship robot mowers this year, the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD continues to be one of my top picks for 2026. And one of the biggest reasons is right there in the name, AWD, all-wheel drive.Watch

The Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 3000H stands out as a powerful robotic mower designed for homeowners with uneven terrain, hills, and more demanding lawn layouts. Its AWD system, wire-free mapping, and advanced obstacle detection make it far more capable than many traditional robotic mowers, especially in yards that are difficult to maintain consistently.Read M
The Navimow has a slight edge in the maximum slope capacity and turn-friendly design. Vertical passing ability matters when moving between grass and hard surfaces. The Navimow X4 30 handles transitions of about 2.8 in, while the Luba 318 WD offers similar clearance depending on the version that you purchase.Watch T
I think MAMMOTION still makes one of the best robotic mowers on the market. The MAMMOTION LUBA 3 AWD provides excellent navigation, AWD, easy setup, great cutting performance, and a great design. In 2026, the MAMMOTION LUBA 3 AWD stands head-to-head with other brands, and if you’re considering this mower, you won’t be disappointed.Read A
It's the most capable mower Mammotion has built, and today I'm going through what's new, how it performed on my lawn, and what still annoys me. For context, I've run every generation of these mowers. The original Luba, the Luba 2, and now this Luba 3. And the Luba 1 is still working in my backyard 3 years on. So, this isn't a first impression video.Watch C
Pros Maps the yard on it own No boundary wires or numerous beacons Tri-fusion position for better accuracy Can handle large yards and slopes Long battery run time Cons Could get closer to edges ExpensiveRead T
Unfortunately, the only access is down a step, which the Luba 3 can't navigate. I initially tried physically moving the mower to the second lawn to create a new map. I turned the mower off, carried it over, and tried mapping. But, the app doesn't allow this, and instead prompts you to move the mower back to a mapped lawn. I did confirm with Mammotion support that this currently isn't possible.Watch G
But here’s our cautionary tale: we left a black rubber hose out on the grass, the detection setting was on low, and the MAMMOTION LUBA 3 AWD ran right over it and shredded it. Lesson learned.Read D
And there's a reason why, but I think it pretty much replaces mowing your lawn or having to mow your lawn completely for the most part. The only time that I would personally mow your lawn or get it mowed real quick is if it's really, really tall. Maybe the mower didn't mow for you didn't have the mower mowing or maybe it's a lot of rain and multiple days and your grass grows just too quickly.Watch P

My name is Jamie Andrews, and this is the latest from Mammotion, the Luba 3, an all-wheel drive robot lawn mower designed to handle steep and rough terrain. The 1500 is the entry-level model designed for smaller yards.Watch L
The LUBA 3 AWD commands a premium price, and smaller, simpler lawns may not benefit enough from its advanced capabilities to justify the added cost.Read R
I think this system with larger contacts is much better. And speaking of charging, at the rear of the Luba 3, the contacts protrude slightly. On the Luba 2, they are flat contacts. Personally, I never had any issues with charging on the Luba 2, and we still find the nightlight that was already present on the Luba 2. What is good is that the LAR is very well protected on top.Watch S
But the skid steering damages turf during turns. If raw capability matters more than turf perfection, the LUBA 3 is the power choice.Read R
The first real-world tests were not really ultra amazing. There were, in my opinion, three things that were not right.
