Whether you're taking voice or video calls you want a pair of true wireless earbuds with a good microphone set-up. Some premium pairs even have special technology that helps to emphasise voices so your voice should come through even clearer. Pairs we would recommend include the Sony WF-C710N at the affordable end of the spectrum and the Sony WF-1000XM5 , Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) and Apple AirPods Pro 2 at the more premium end.Read S SoundGuys SoundGuys · 332K subscribers · May 2025
Okay, at around $100, the Sony WF C710N are an easy recommendation. Now that these exist, I actually have a lot harder time recommending the XM5s. I mean, these get you 90% of the way there in terms of features and performance for less than half the price. That's a pretty sweet deal to meWatch D DIY GUIDES DIY GUIDES · 6.2K subscribers · Feb 2026

The Sony WF-C710N is a good earphone with a bit too many sidenotes. It has great battery life, but the Active Noise Cancelling comes with an annoying rumble, the controls are awkward, and the sound is a bit too bassy and smooth out of the box.Read T Testventure Testventure · 42.6K subscribers · Apr 2025
In my view, the voice quality of the WF-C 710 N is perfectly fine and can be rated as good. Conclusion: Overall, we get a good pair of headphones with very good sound. Plus a design variant with a transparent look. In all other respects, the Sony WF-C 710 N performs below my expectations, which is not to say that everything is bad. Battery life is okay and has been increased from the predecessor, but compared to JBL or other manufacturers, it's far behind. Typical for Sony, the ANC could have been better. I’m a bit puzzled, because quite a lot remains, even if the low end disappears nicelyWatch R Rouben Cherchian Rouben Cherchian · 4.1K subscribers · Jul 2025
I've been testing these Blue Translucent Sony Earphones the WF-C710N for two weeks, and while they offer impressive sound quality and features for $130, there are some connectivity quirks you should know about before buying. These earphones deliver near-flagship performance at a mid-range price, but after extensive testing for calls, music, and daily use, I found some issues that might be deal-breakers depending on how you plan to use themWatch V Verified Reviews Verified Reviews · 1.3K subscribers · Jul 2026
To sum up, the Sony WFC 710N earbuds are a classic case of decent features held back by some frustrating compromises. They deliver on sound quality and battery life and include thoughtful extras like multi-point connection and a customizable app, but expect comfort issues, less than perfect noise cancelling and occasional connection hiccups. If comfort and premium noise isolation are dealreakers, this isn't the pick for you. But if you want good audio on the go for under 60 bucks with some modern tech, these could surprise youWatch
