I am impressed at how the headphone is tuned to be neutral and yet offers enjoyable bass impact, forthcoming midrange, sparkling treble, without applying a V-shaped tuning. On top of that, musical clarity is consistent across the frequency. Sennheiser tuned the drivers so that the bass rumbles without too boomy, the midrange sings without too bloaty, and the treble sparkles without too harsh.Read T
And guys, these headphones will definitely make you want to listen to the song again. And guys, there is no stereotype about wireless headphones. They are definitely wireless but do not give the same sound as wired headphones. And Guy Sensitive claims this is their first wireless audiophile headphone. Meaning brother, serious sound quality without any wire.Watch E
The HDB 630 delivers the kind of clarity, spaciousness, and detail that audiophiles actually notice — and it does it without the usual “luxury lifestyle” fluff. Borrowing the MOMENTUM 4’s proven chassis but outfitted with custom drivers and tuning from Sennheiser’s Tullamore, Ireland facility , this is a headphone that sounds better than most in the category.Read J
For an industry that has been around waying longer than I have, this pair of headphones, the brand new Sennheiser HDB 630, might not look anything too special, but if the measurements, that is, well, the most objective way we can try to like quantify how something sounds are anything to be believed, these are the only headphones you should probably be buying.Watch F
The good news is that the HDB 630 meets these expectations head-on, making it one of the best wireless offerings from Sennheiser in recent memory. Music playback carries Sennheiser’s signature neutral sound, with the excellent midrange performance the company is known for. Vocals sound warm and forward, with pleasing tonality for both male and female voices.Read S
Already it's an audio file darling. But do the headphones really deserve the praise they're getting, or are they yet another product competing out of their league? I tested these in our labs for a couple weeks and have the answer. Let's meet the HDB 630.Watch S
While I’m not crazy about the platform tradeoffs introduced by these headphones, to someone locked into the Apple ecosystem, the AirPods Max offer a lot of the niceties that the Sennheiser HDB 630 has available. That being said, the increased price tag and incompatibility of some features to work outside of Apple devices is a real buzzkill.Read S
Honestly, going to give this round to Sennheiser here. After using both of these headphones, we just find that the Sennheiser HD 630 has bigger ear cups, which should suit people who especially have larger ears. The padding is a lot more plush with this leatherette material. Yes, it's made of plastic, same as the Sony XM6 headphones, but the advantage is that it doesn't have a hinge.Watch H
Taken as a whole, yeah the hype is real. Sennheiser’s HDB 630 is the most balanced, best-sounding wireless ANC headphone you can buy in 2025. It nails the fundamentals, adds genuinely useful features like onboard parametric EQ and low-latency mode, and finally gives audiophiles a wireless option that feels purpose-built for them.Read M
Like, they still are very, very good. And although Sennheiser isn't saying that these are the Momentum 5 because they're not. They're the the HDB 630, they are technically the next generation Momentum, which begs many questions because on the box it says wireless audio file headphones. Now, these didn't have the word audio file attached to them. Interesting.Watch W
Paired with the dongle, the HDB 630 repeatedly impressed our reviewers, delivering a natural, dynamic, detailed sound regardless of which test track we threw at them. They also come with a number of perks you won’t find on the other, mostly cabled, open-back headphones on this list.Read T
I just recently finished writing an ANC headphone buying guide up on headphones.com, and I was like, the HDB 630 is like the headphone to get, you know, don't waste your time considering others, but the Bose QC Ultra is more impressive in certain ways, and it's actually making this a very difficult choice.Watch T
Battery life is excellent. The headphones last for 60 hours with ANC turned on, a whole 30 hours more than the closest Bose and Sony alternatives. Only the Marshall Monitor III feature more battery life.Read G
The parametric EQ is incredibly powerful. All you have to do is open the app and once you're connected to the headphone, you have the ability to choose through several presets and even some of them enable bass boost if you somehow want more bass because this has gobs of it. Or when you go into custom, you can really dial it in.Watch I Instagram Instagram post
The new HDB 630 is actually insane, neutral AF sound, 60-hour battery, noise cancellation that blocks out all my life problems, and you can fine-tune every detail with the parametric EQ.View post S
The HD 630 solved these issues by applying two major updates. First of all, these use Bluetooth 5.4 instead of 5.2. And also, they added this little guy into the same package. This is the BTD 700, which makes wireless transmission so much better. Not only via HD 630 or Momentum 4, but via every other wireless headphones I have on hand.Watch A

At first glance, you might mistake them for the Momentum 4s, but after extensive use, I would go as far as to say these are in a whole different category of its own and that this is the best Sennheiser has released in recent years. Unboxing.Watch M

Still keeping that awesome battery life. Looks a bit less fancy than the Momentum series and has more of audio features. We'll come to that. This is HDB 630. This is a new wireless headphone from Sennheiser, and I think it's finally going to scratch the itch of getting performance tonality sound quality of a wired headphone running from a DAC and an amp chain, but you get it in a wireless package. It'll be convenient for moving around or on the go.Watch H

I think it's truly deserve its place at this price point. Right out of the box, the HDB 630 feels very premium. Chenniser include a generous set of accessories, a very solid fabric cover art case, a USBC cable, a 2.5 jack cable, an airplane adapter, and most importantly, the BTD700 USBC dongle, which allows you to use the APX uh adaptive even on device that don't support it natively.Watch I

So, I give them a 4.5 out of five for comfort. Now, moving on to features, build quality, battery life, and noise cancelling performance, which will combine into a single score. I do appreciate the lighter Momentum 5. Both of these had slightly firm clamping force from the factory, but they've loosened up since then. I think the biggest difference in comfort between these two, other than the weight, is that the HTB 630 does have the larger ear cups.Watch F Facebook Kim Enrico Jumarang · owner

These wireless overears are the most premium cans we've seen from Sennheiser's Senova Run consumer audio division. But don't let the word consumer fool you. Instead of leaning into a boosted bass or V-shaped tuning, these cans promise a more balanced, accurate sound than you'd typically get from Bluetooth headphones. Do these live up to the hype? If someone told me I had to give up all the headphones and speakers I own and choose just one device to cover everything, I think I'd have no trouble picking the Sennheiser HDB 630. The Sennheiser HD 630 is the best sounding wireless noise canceling headphone you can buy right now. It runs a 42 mm dynamic transducer built in-house at Sennheiser's facility in Tullamore, Ireland. The tuning is neutral and audiophile grade with lifelike mids, intimate vocals, and fast dynamics. And here's what makes it special.Watch H
The HD 630 is sensitive to how you wear it. If the cups sit slightly asymmetric, the 1 to 2 kilohertz region shifts noticeably. Bass-heavy listeners should also note the tuning is intentionally lean and measured. Exciting pop tuning this is not.Watch E
The material choice here is excellent. While many brands are moving toward fabric, Sennheiser used a high-end Japanese leatherette for the ear pads and the headband. It's very plush.Watch T

I don’t think the treble is the main quality HDB 630 users will seek. If it is, they might be disappointed. This is a closed-back headphone, after all. It’s physically challenging to create a natural, airy, and expansive treble in such a confined space. So, in the end, the highs are good enough for me.Read S

I already buyed the HDB 630 as a evolution of my Momentum 4, and the difference is so notable, Momentum 4 sounds much better than de HDB 630, I don´t know if I did sometinh wrong but the power, clarity and brilliance in sound is much better on Momentum 4, so the difference is very marked.Watch T

So, these are the Sennheiser HDB 630, and I say that these are an upgraded version of the Sennheiser Momentum Forge, which are going to give you slightly better sound quality and slightly better active noise cancellation, but I wouldn't say that these are the replacement or the new generation Sennheiser Momentum 5.Watch E

Now, the HDB 630 have a similar case to the Sennheis Momentum Forge, which is a problem cuz even though these headphones have good active noise cancellation and a super long battery life, for me, it is hard to justify traveling with these headphones cuz their case is just so big. But the biggest issue with the HDB 630 is that their case is also pretty thick. So, for me, it is very difficult to justify traveling with the Sennheiser HDB 630s, even though they have decent active noise cancellation and an above average battery life. I don't think it's perfect and I think there are some areas where the competition actually still retains an advantage over it. I'm going to try and explain that in as levelheaded and as calm a way as you can. I've got my most serious brown jumper on to emphasize this point.Watch P

Now, if you watch my HDB 630 review, the only real criticism I had, aside from some, you know, gaming specific latency issues, was the ear pad dimensions. I had some issues where the stock pad put some pressure behind my ear. And the 630 almost run out of steam with quieter recordings. We get close to maximum volume, or at least I do. So, for example, if we try the water boys's red army blues in its weak original 1984 mastering, the 630 almost taps out. The HDB 630 is a different animal entirely. This one chases neutral reference tuning modeled on the HD560, which means it tries to reproduce the recording as accurately as possible instead of flattering it.
