Nitecore has once again pushed the boundaries of functionality and innovation with this beast of a flashlight in the MH12 Pro . Its secret sauce is the new UHi 40 LED which can produce 3300 Lumens over a max distance of an incredible 500 meters. Oh, and all this in a pocketable 5.5 inches and under 3 ounces!

But 3,300 lm, can you believe it? 505 m. a battery that they include. 5,3 100 mA of power, okay? And the battery's included, obviously, as you see in the box. Etc. And of course, it's got the IP68 rating, 1-m drop. Boring. They No, no, I'm just kidding. No, that's very important, actually. Aircraft grade aluminum with type 3 hardening, anodized hardening. So, you got that.

Pretty cool lights, they have built-in charging so they have built-in micro USB ports. They both come with the batteries. Big difference between the two is that the MH10 does not have a rear switch. MH12 does. Other than that, they're very similar lights, similar interfaces, similar specs and all that kind of stuff.

The MH12 has a greenish tint and horrible color rendering. I was thinking of the Convoy S21E with a 519a or XHP50.3 HI R070. It's a great flashlight with lots of options, and the Convoy will save you some $$ as well. The S21E does not have anything like the "Blind everything within a quarter mile" LUMENSHIELD that the MH12 has.

If you work industrial/facility maintenance where you need magnetic mounting and can cycle the light on/off - this makes sense. If you need 4+ hour continuous runtime for tactical/security - skip this, get the MH12 Pro instead.
