I’d heartily recommend the Nikon Monarch M7 8x42 for this reason. Of course, you could opt for one of the other three model variants (8x30, 10x30 or 10x42), which are of equal quality. However, if you are using these regularly for stargazing then we’d perhaps advise against the 8x30 model only, due to the light restriction you would see with the smaller 30 mm objective lenses.

Of those three, I'd get the M7. To my eyes, M7 and Trailseeker HD have similar image quality, Terra a bit behind. I prefer M7 and Terra build and handling over Trailseeker HD. I'd make do with any of them for general birding. I might add Kowa BD II XD 8x42 to the list.

I rate the Monarch M7 image as good but not perfect, chromatic aberration (color fringes around objects) is well controlled in the image center but not towards the edge. Contrast is very good but not always as good as with naked eyes. Do I expect too much? And, bright light sources from behind me, or near the entry pupil, can cause internal flaring.

Not going to download that. Product description. uh something to write down your serial number so you can get their warranty. I am sure you need to register it. And lastly, instructions booklet.
