I would not go for the artisan if 1kg of flour is your regular portion. The tilt head models really dislike dough. They tend to thump and become exhausted if you need greater than 6 minutes. Can it be done yes, I used my artisan for 10 years making larger dough recipes. Would I have bought that model again… nope. I would highly recommend buying the bowl lift model or better yet find a bowl lift with DC motor rather than AC. I recently acquired a commercial one and it’s been really great, no straining whatsoever.
