So I have a Kalita 102 - I enjoy it and it brews a very good cup of coffee. Any advantages to getting a Kalita Wave flat bottom brewer as an alternative/to mix things up? I'm not super picky - enjoy a good cup of natural Ethiopian with fruity/blueberry notes, but not a super sophisticated palette otherwise. I don't like the funkiness of some anearobics generally.Read thread C Coffee with Luis Coffee with Luis ยท 400 subscribers ยท Jun 2025
This is the first coffee dripper that I learned how to brew coffee from apart from the Aeropress. With this dripper, I learned how to pour the water from a kettle to the coffee beans. I learned about grind sizes. I learned about flow rate of the coffee to the carff.Watch C
If this is your first Kalita dripper, start with the ceramic 102-D. Its high heat retention, stable extraction, and straightforward design make it the ideal tool for learning the fundamentals of pour-over brewing.Read
