Good solution if you don't want to adjust BEKANT desk height often. If you need to adjust high of your Ikea desk regularly there are few options in Ikea desk line with motorized adjustable legs great option if you are working long hours and need to change position. Ikea desks with motorised legs are a bit pricey but over time you may find them useful. BEKANT adjustable desk in the video have measurements 160cm to 80cm and currently cost in the UK £150. Legs are adjustable between 65cm-85cm.

The IKEA Bekant is a nice looking standing desk that we think costs a bit too much for what you get. For instance, its keypad is quite basic with only an up and down button and its cable management tray is made out of mesh instead of metal. Still though, if you’re a fan of that IKEA look and want to get all of your home office furniture in one trip to the store, it could be worth considering.

The IKEA Bekant, IKEA Rodulf and Rol Ego desks appear to have several known electrical issues with their mechanism, one of which relates to the up/down controller ceasing to function. IKEA customer service are painfully slow to respond and so I spoke directly with the manufacturer (Rol Ergo, a lovely lady called Taiba) and got an immediate fix!
