A truly great walking shoe can be hard to find, but Hoka’s Bondi SR sneaker ticks the box. Johnson’s mother, Elizabeth, wore them on several walks over a mile and while running errands during the day. She felt these shoes were comfortable, true to size, with ample grip and traction for daily use. Despite wearing them every day for two weeks, they stayed clean and resisted any dirt.Read S

If you’re in need of cushioned Hoka shoes that are a bit safer on slick surfaces, the Bondi SR is worth a look. Like the original Bondi, the SR features thick, cloud-like cushioning and neutral stability that won’t interfere with your gait. But it adds a slip-resistant outsole and a water-resistant leather upper to help you stay steady and clean through slick surfaces and spills.Read R
I like them all, though is the Sr much better than the 7? It's also NOT a running shoe, and that's a bit different.Watch Z

So, I definitely need shoes where I can stand and walk for long periods and have slip resistance as well if something spills. I found out about these shoes on Reddit because I was specifically looking for shoes that nurses recommend. Nurses are on their feet all the time and they walk. They're sometimes confronted with hazards like slip hazards.Watch T
The slip-resistant rubber tread on these shoes is grippy on slick surfaces. I wore them during shifts at a brewery and never worried about slipping if something spilled. This is a useful feature for anyone who works in environments with potentially slick floors, like in hospitals, restaurants/bars, or kitchens.Read D

So, the Hoka Bondi SR they said is very plush. As you can see from here, it has a big bulky um bottom. It looks big, but as you can see, this extra wide. So, let's go ahead and give it a try. So, maximum cushion has a big bulky mid foot. I think would help me while I'm standing. Let's see. So this extra white. Extra white. Okay.Watch M

The Hoka Bondi SR is a great choice for healthcare workers, restaurant staff, and other industries where you spend a lot of time on your feet. They are slip-resistant, and the upper is resistant to fluids, again making these an excellent choice for these industries. Otherwise, they are a good choice for a walker who specifically wants the slip-resistant outsole. However, walkers who frequent graveRead N r/NursingAU u/Interesting_Range937 · owner
Cons - I didn't like the shoe overall. I've been heavily down voted for saying this before. The sole of the shoe is so cushioned that I felt like I'm wasting energy bouncing up and down rather than walking forward. It's great if you already have sore feet and need to recover. In the long term I felt that the excessive cushioning resulted in a lack of support, especially arch support overall.Read thread F
Keep in mind that what you gain in toughness, you lose in comfort. The shoe feels chunky and rigid, almost like a hiking shoe, so assess when and where you walk before deciding if it’s worth sacrificing some of that support (it’s also available in a low-top with Gore-Tex ). Otherwise, the Clifton 10 should get the job done more often than not.Read T
The downside to the HOKA Bondi SR shoes is their bulk. They’re chunky shoes, which may be a style you like, but can also feel cumbersome to others. The weight isn’t a problem for walking, but you wouldn’t want to run in these shoes.Read H r/Hoka u/Far-Scientist-6898 · owner
