The law of diminishing returns is at work here as surely as it is in every other part of the audio equipment market, of course – but given that FiiO has a digital audio player at every price-point, and that each and every one of them represents very decent value for money, what’s perhaps most remarkable about the M27 is just how readily it justifies its position as the priciest device in the entire FiiO line-up.

The flagship FiiO M27 DAP is far more resolving, and spacious-sounding than the M17, offers more power to drive some of the most demanding headphones out there, and is packed with a vastly improved processor and a decent level of RAM. There are very few faster high-end Android DAPs in the market right now to compete with it.

Good news, there’s one now, the FiiO M27 . A player that benefited from all of the brand acquired experience, and advertised as THE best (trans)portable DAP on the market.

But all those bells and whistles wouldn’t mean much if the M27 didn’t nail the sound. Lucky for us, it does. When fed the right high-resolution music, this player dazzles with stunning detail, expansive soundstage, incredible dynamic range, and a unique character that turns every listening session into a special event. On the flip side, low-quality tracks? Let’s just say the M27 is brutally honest — it won’t sugarcoat a bad recording. So, is it one of the best players on the market? Absolutely.

Wireless is nice, but powering wired headphones is what the M27 is really about. Inside is serious amplification for its size, up to 5 watts per channel, so it can drive the toughest headphones without stressing.

Well, actually, I have heard of its engineering machine on last year's ABU, so I felt it at the time, nothing special, so this time I heard buying the street, not feeling this machine looks good Well, the M27 is very powerful to push this way , so basically, if I, generally at most, this is already possible to completely push the headphones open .

Now the M27 has an incredible chassis. You know the chassis is built from titanium alloy. It's the first time used this material uh that more or less you get from top tier flagship uh products from other companies. This is a rugged design.

So, overall, the M27 is shaping up to be a seriously impressive FL eggship digital audio player. Between the massive storage potential, the high-end processor, the advanced wireless and DAC capabilities, and that gorgeous titanium build, it's clear that Fio is going allin to make a statement with this device. If you're the kind of listener who demands top tier performance, and you want something that can act as both a portable powerhouse and a central hub for your listening setup, this is definitely one to keep on your radar.

The FiiO M27 Android HiFi Music Player is a remarkable device that caters to audiophiles seeking an exceptional listening experience. One of its standout features is the dual ES9039SPRO DACs, which deliver outstanding sound quality. The precision and clarity provided by these DACs ensure that every note is rendered beautifully, making even the most complex tracks feel rich and immersive. This is especially noticeable when listening to high-resolution audio files, which the M27 handles with ease.

The FiiO M27 is worth it for audiophiles who want a reference-class portable solution that truly competes with desktop rigs , particularly if you regularly use demanding headphones and plan to leverage its versatile I/O and wireless capabilities. Its combination of power, modern codecs, large storage, and software flexibility represent a compelling value at its price tier. If your listening habits routinely move between a desk setup and portable sessions, and you want one device that can legitimately do both, the M27 DAP aligns strongly with that goal. But for listeners who prioritize maximum portability or are fully satisfied with smartphone audio and modest amplification, the investment may be harder to justify.
