Echo's 14-in CS-3410 is one of the most affordable chainsaws that offers high-quality cutting performance. At 8 lb, it's far lighter than any of my other recommendations. That low weight, coupled with its compact 14-in bar, makes it very easy to handle, especially compared to a 16- or 20-in pro-grade saw. The CS-3410 is reliable, but a budget-tier option through and through.
