Out of the box the C5 is soft and supportive, with no break-in period and no hotspots — you lace up and walk, where most premium shoes demand a few rounds before they stop nipping. The brand's reputation for the most comfortable shoes in golf is well earned, and the C5 is plusher than the model it replaced, with deep underfoot cushioning over a stable platform and a knitted comfort lining that adds to the slipper-like first impression. For an all-day walking round, few shoes match it on first wear, and that single quality is the reason most buyers cross-shop it against far cheaper rivals and still pay up.
