Corsair TC100 Relaxed

P PC Gamer Article · Dec 2025

As we mention in our Corsair TC100 Relaxed review , this aptly named seat is already our favourite affordable gaming chair, and that was before you could buy it for just $214.99 at Best Buy , $55 off its usual $269.99 asking price. It's spacious, comfy, made from high-quality fabric and leatherette, and comes with a head pillow and lumbar support pillow. The somewhat rickety armrests only benefit from the standard from up, down, in, and out adjustability is a minor drawback though, which the similarly budget T3 Rush upgraded. That aside, it's the best budget option and likely what I'll be getting to upgrade my seat game.

Based on the spec design and 444 owner reviews averaging 4.1 out of 5, the TC100 RELAXED holds up well for extended sessions. The high-density foam lumbar pillow, memory foam neck pillow, and fabric upholstery all contribute to sustained comfort. The wider 375mm seat and relaxed bolstering reduce pressure points that typically build up over hours in a standard racing-style chair. Some users report seat foam compression over longer ownership periods, which is common at this price tier.

The Corsair TC100 Relaxed has long been one of our favorite value options in the gaming chair world, but as its price is beginning to slip with age, it's become our favorite budget option. I think it still punches well above its price point by packing loads of features and providing loads of comfort while remaining cheaper than a lot of the competition. As it continues to age, it's also seeing more discounts.

While we have featured the TC100 in the past, the fabric version takes comfort to the next level, similar to the Respawn 110 Pro featured next. It allows the TC100 to be more breathable and accommodating to different environments. The fabric Corsair used is soft and feels immediately comfortable – a good match for its thickly padded and spacious seat.

However, while the TC100 excels in comfort and design, it's important to note that the fabric can be a bit of a magnet for dust and pet hair. Regular cleaning is necessary to keep it looking pristine. Additionally, the chair's weight makes it less portable if you need to move it frequently. Overall, the Corsair TC100 Relaxed Gaming Chair is an excellent choice for gamers and professionals alike. It combines a stylish aesthetic with practical comfort features, making it a worthy investment for anyone who spends extended hours seated. With its ergonomic design and supportive lumbar feature, it truly enhances the gaming experience while ensuring you stay comfortable and focused

Corsair's TC100 Relaxed gaming chair gets its racing seat inspiration from sports cars. The material of the chair is fabric, with memory foam underneath in the seat and back. For added support, there is a lumbar pillow and a detachable memory foam neck pillow. This is a great budget gaming chair from a known brand.

While the TC100 excels in comfort and design, there are a few minor drawbacks. The lumbar support is decent but could be more pronounced for those who prefer extra back support. Additionally, the seat might feel a bit firm at first, but it gradually becomes more comfortable with use. Overall, the Corsair TC100 Relaxed Gaming Chair is a fantastic investment for gamers seeking a blend of comfort, style, and functionality. Its price point on eBay was competitive, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. If you’re looking to elevate your gaming experience without breaking the bank, I highly recommend the TC100. It's a great addition to any gaming setup, offering a perfect balance between style and comfort

T TechRadar Article · Oct 2025

The Corsair TC100 Relaxed easily ranks as the best budget gaming chair that you can get. This model borrows design cues from its pricier siblings but keeps the overall asking price low with only a few minor concessions made to the product. Overall, it's a well-rounded gaming chair that punches far above its weight.

My number one choice chair for gamers on a budget, the TC100 is a relaxed and comfortable chair that only really lacks fully adjustable lumbar support.

While the chair is generally well-made, the plastic components don’t feel as robust as the rest of the chair, particularly in areas like the armrests, and the wheels are notably lacking in quality.
