Bellroy Note Sleeve
The same build quality with more structure, coin storage and a pull-tab. Ranked below the Hide & Seek because the extra architecture is more surface area for wear without adding lifespan.

Bellroy's older, chunkier layout that the newer Apex Slim Sleeve and the Hide & Seek have clearly outclassed in current testing. Not a bad wallet, just the wrong Bellroy to buy today.

The Bellroy Note Sleeve is a masterclass in the modern bifold: premium environmentally certified leather, impeccable stitching, a clever pull-tab that keeps it slim, and enough room for a full daily carry, all backed by a three-year warranty and designed to age into something even better. Its size, leather care, and price are the honest caveats, but if you want a real leather wallet that trims the bulk without going fully minimalist, the Note Sleeve is an easy recommendation.Read D David Zhang David Zhang · 403K subscribers · Jul 2016

The Bellroy Note Sleeve is praised for its slim design and leather patina that develops over years, with users reporting 9+ years of use. Pack Hacker tested this wallet for over a year and reported it aged gracefully. The leather softens and develops a natural patina that actually improves the look over time. Real-world users consistently hit the 5-year mark without structural issues and the stitching stays clean. Bellroy backs this up with a 3-year warranty.Watch T

So yeah, really it's just a great great quality wallet. And you know, I can attest to this because I also have this Broy note sleeve here. And this one here is the one that I've used for the the last I'm going to say 5 to seven years. And as you can say see the difference between these two is quite stark. This one is well worn in. It's developed a nice patina and a nice shine on it.Watch N Nazz Jamal Nazz Jamal · 1.2K subscribers · Apr 2022
I love it because of the slim factor and has a very organized design.Watch

The Note Sleeve was a huge disappointment. The design is great (my favorite ever), but the leather was crumbly and did not hold up. It was especially disappointing because it was an anniversary gift purchased by my wife directly from Bellroy. I ended up getting a knock-off PABIN wallet in the same design, and it has lasted for years.Read thread F Facebook Facebook post
Some users compare it to competitors like Ekster and The Ridge, saying Bellroy has a thinner profile but others offer easier card access. Customer service feedback is mixed, with one user unhappy about paying return shipping on a $500 order.View post W r/wallets u/Bright-Zombie-8519 · owner
If you're OK with the bulk then they're great options. I bought a note sleeve but returned it due to the thickness of it. I really wanted to love it but I couldn't overcome that one issue. To be fair there are wallets bulkier than this one.Read thread
