Seriously Into Audio Since 1974 Article

I replaced a 2year old Marantz pre-pro with the MRX 1140 and couldn't be happier. I didn't purchase my unit from Crutchfield but wanted to inform others of this AVR. The sound quality from the Anthem is ridiculously good and is quite a bit better than the Marantz IMO. The main thing I didn't like about the Marantz was lack of fine tuning ability and the overly warm sound.

I have this AVR and it's been great for me for about 4 years now. I was able to upgrade it (for a fee) to the 8k HDMI board which is a testament to their customer support.

Uh, Anthem 1140 versus the AVM90. Is there a difference? Uh, does the sound sound better? Is it worth the upgrade? I will say this cuz there's a couple things I want to say cuz I found out some information. I don't know if I can tell you. But, um, as far as the 1140 and the AVM90, I've got both. And for a long period of time, I was really satisfied with the 1140. I'm still satisfied.
