It's important to note that it's no small feat to pack wireless charging and this level of heat management inside such a small case. In essence, you're paying for a super compact design and excellent build quality. You could buy a cheaper alternative, but it's unlikely to be as portable as Anker's offering. If you're looking for a portable charger and your phone doesn't support MagSafe or Qi2 magnetic charging , then you can't go wrong with the Anker Nano Power Bank (A1638). Naturally, I would recommend the newer option, primarily due to its faster charging speeds, longer built-in USB-C cable, and more useful display. If your phone supports faster charging speeds, this is one of the better options to take advantage of those speeds.

So, a few things that I really like about this right off the bat is that it's fast charging both ways. So, it takes me about less than an hour to charge this up to 100% and then to charge my phone to 100% from zero, it takes less than an hour. So, that's incredible.

This is the Anker Nano power bank and it's great for daily use or commuting where you need a phone backup power. This is also great for anyone who hates managing cables and wants everything in one compact device. I've personally had mine for 2 years now and I use it everyday when I go out of the house. Also, here is the Anker Nano power bank up close. It has a built-in charging cable which is the main feature here. It is a USB-C cable and I believe it goes up to 35 watts, possibly even more.

I'm really loving these new Ankor Insta cords. They work really well, and you can easily adjust the length of it, but it does take a second to get used to the retraction mechanism. So, to retract it, you actually just give it a gentle pull, and then the cord will start to retract itself.

I purchased an Anker A1259 two years ago and lately I've been having issues where it will self-discharge from 100% to less than 10% in just a few days if not plugged in. From looking online the A1259 does not appear to be affected by recent recalls. Is it safe to use or should I safely dispose of it? Thanks.
