I love a budget buy as much as the next person, but if you want cookware that will outlast just about everything else you own, All-Clad is worth the splurge. Between the consistent performance, durable construction, and U.S. manufacturing, this is cookware that you buy once and keep for decades. All-Clad’s D3 line takes an aluminum core and sandwiches it between layers of stainless steel for even heat distribution. It works on all cooktops (yes, this includes induction), and this set can take the heat — up to 600 degrees F in the oven, to be precise.Read A
This cookware is built to last for years, even decades, and is compatible with all cooktops including induction. It’s also oven and broiler safe, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of cooking styles.Watch C r/cookware u/drconniehenley · owner
You can't really go wrong with the D3. The product that they chose to compare it to is a more expensive product with a much less stellar track record that doesn't really offer anything notably different than the D3 (but does have some significant longevity and durability concerns). Some cookware matches or exceeds the D3's capabilities. Some cookware approaches the D3's capabilities at a much lower price. Some cookware has features that the D3 doesn't have. A comparison to one of these products would have made for a better video, IMHO.Read thread C

But for the best value, we recommend the D3 Everyday line. These 3-ply pans contain a layer of aluminum bonded between two layers of stainless steel. The All-Clad D3 Frying Pan has a large cooking surface thanks to a gently sloped edge that also facilitates easy pouring. The 10" and even 12" fry pans from the D3 line are lightweight and easy to maneuver with one hand and have remarkably even heat distribution—you can thank the aluminum core for both.Read P

All-Clad D3 earns our Best Overall spot because it gives the widest range of cooks a strong balance of uncoated stainless-steel construction, useful set composition, cooking versatility, mature ownership evidence, and long-term durability potential. Overall, the All-Clad D3 Nonstick 10in Pan is a winner. While I can't speak to the vendedor or the shipping process, the pan itself is excellent. There is no concern about its cooking performance. It delivers even heat and easy cleanup. This pan is a reliable workhorse in the kitchen, and it will not disappoint.Watch T

Personally, I prefer the D5 handle; the D3 feels a bit too skinny where it meets the pan. That said, I still use a 10" D3 for my morning eggs as it’s much easier for tossing and flipping.View post R
Also, while these pans are durable and well balanced, some users find the lids too light and the handles a bit stiff. So, is it too much? Not really. Unless you're cooking for a big crowd every night, then you might want a larger set. In daily use, the AllClad D3 performs like a true workhorse, but with a refined edge.Watch C r/cookware u/Paratrooper76 · owner

When we heated the pans correctly and added oil at the right moment, both the T-fal Stainless Steel Set and the All-Clad D3 Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel performed without any major sticking. That said, stainless steel will never be as naturally slick as cast iron or nonstick, and it requires more precise methods to achieve flawless results.Read K
