Reviewed.com's low-tech favorite is serviceable, but budget build quality and imprecise small portions make it the weakest pick. The Eatwell's simplicity edges it.

Admittedly, the WOpet automatic feeder is as low-tech as it gets, yet it’s still one of the best automatic dog feeders we tested. Yet when it comes to smart models, WOpet’s version ably demonstrates the benefits of having a WiFi-connected machine. Slim, shiny, and attractive, the 17-cup capacity hopper can be fitted with either a small or large food dispenser tray (both of which can be easily removed for refilling or cleaning), so you can accommodate the amount of kibble for any-sized pet.

Having an Automatic Feeder has been awesome. I don't have to worry about making sure the dogs stick to a feeding schedule, the food automatically comes out at the same time everyday. Fifi sits in her room and waits for the food.

The WOPET 7L is the only feeder we tested that can handle large dogs without constant refilling. At 7 liters, it holds enough food for a 70-pound dog for 10 days — and the dispensing mechanism handles kibble up to 18mm, which covers large-breed formulas that smaller feeders jam on.

It’s not as fancy as the others and the interface is a bit clunky, but it offers the most storage for the lowest price. It’s a workhorse for utility rather than style.
