So far this snow blower has met the challenge, and easily enough of a fresh 8 inches of snow, making for quick snow removal. If you are looking for an affordable and easy to handle snow blower than this might be the one for you, even in the cold winter conditions.Watch T
The Toro SnowMaster 824 QXE has a sturdy, convenient design that makes it easier to start and clear snow at home. The 131-pound machine has a steel body that houses a powerful engine and a unique auger system that cuts into the snow. A scraper loads this ice into an impeller to release it via a chute. You can use its chute controls to direct where it throws snow as you move.Watch

It throws it just fine, it’s just it takes a fair amount of effort to keep it “down.” Personally if I did it over I’d look at the platinum 24 sho, or perhaps even the 28 sho rapidtrak. Also, both units are going to leave a thin layer of snow, but it isn’t like you need to shovel afterwards. It’s normally gone within a day or so.Read thread R
