The high retail price is not justified by a significant performance leap over the ThermoPro TP18, making it a poor value for most users.

I use a thermoworks thermopop. They go on sale fairly often and although they may not be as fast as the more expensive models it’s fine for normal home cooking needs. Right by the stove when needed. I tend to cook a lot of meat directly from frozen and you really do need to check. Also. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how much better things are when you aren’t overcooking just to be sure.Read S
And ooh, the fastest, most accurate, most reliable. 2 to 3 second readings. That's what we want cuz we want to know what meat is good, you know? You want the right temperature for the meat. Here's the instructions right here. Always save that. Yeah, buddy. Medium rare, you know, I like my steak, you know, it depends. Medium rare, we go about 160 to 165 for the meats we're cooking.Watch E
This is the thermometer I recommend when someone says, “I just want something that works.” ThermoPop 2 gives you fast, accurate readings without asking you to learn a new system or spend a small fortune. The screen is big and easy to read (even when you’re peeking into a hot oven), it works left- or right-handed, and it’s waterproof because kitchens are messy places.Read F
At a lower price point, the ThermoPop 2 offers all of the necessary functions of a grill thermometer, while maintaining quality and reliability. A single button on the back turns it on and off, activating the screen’s backlight; there’s essentially zero learning curve required to start monitoring food temperatures.Read F

What we didn’t like : Its power button was rigid, making it harder to turn on and off. The button’s location in the back is less intuitive than one on the front (where the original ThermoPop thermometer had it).Read P
ThermoPop 2 nails accuracy and screen rotation, but its sluggish speed, awkward grip, and lack of mounting options make it feel less refined than the best performers in this group.Read F Facebook Mandy Swe · owner
