Tom’s Hardware tested 90 thermal pastes and ranked Thermal Grizzly’s Duronaut as the best performing paste hands down. In addition to its excellent thermal performance, it is designed specifically for long-term stability. The Duronaut uses aluminium microparticles and zinc oxide nanoparticles for extraordinary longevity compared to conventional pastes. If you want the absolute best performing non-liquid-metal paste available in 2026 and longevity is important to you, Duronaut is the answer.

Thermal Grizzly Duronaut was deliberately chosen for this test because it is a suitable reference in several respects and lends itself to critical examination. The product name itself conveys a clear claim, as the term “durability” explicitly addresses longevity, which is precisely the topic at the heart of this investigation. Anyone who promises such a feature not only implicitly, but already in the name, must inevitably be measured against this standard.

Pros of the Thermal Grizzly Duronaut include its outstanding durability, excellent thermal conductivity, safety due to electrical non-conductivity, and the included spatula for easy application. On the downside, it comes in a relatively small 2 g tube, which might not be sufficient for multiple builds or very large cooling surfaces. Additionally, it is priced at a premium compared to some other thermal pastes, but the performance and longevity justify the investment for serious users. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable thermal paste that offers both high performance and durability, especially for overclocking or gaming consoles, Thermal Grizzly Duranaut is an excellent choice.

For most enthusiasts, Thermal Grizzly Duronaut is the best thermal paste for gaming laptops in Pakistan when long-term conventional-paste stability is the main priority. Duronaut Pro is the newer premium variant if genuine stock is available.

Two tubes of Duronaut, thermal pads, cleaning supplies, and honestly, tens of hours wasted on this. All for worse performance than the stock factory paste that came with the card. After 3 months and 10 separate applications, I am giving this a disappointing 3 out of 10.

In my previous long-term review video of Thermmo Grizzlies Duronaut thermal paste, I was completely and extremely unimpressed with this so-called premium thermal paste coming out of Germany.
