I've used the QCK Performance Speed and it's one of my favorite mousepads, I'd say it's well worth it's price. If you just want something cheap the QCK is a good option. But may I recommend the QCK Performance Balance which is essentially a better version of the standard QCK with stitched edges and a more plush surface, and it's the same price as the Speed version is.Read thread H
Overall, I think SteelSeries did an amazing job with these mousepads. If you're serious about gaming, these are definitely worth considering. Whether you need more precision, a balanced feel, or raw speed, there's a version that fits. If you're thinking about getting a glass mousepad, I'd try the Speed version first-it's smooth but without the downsides of glass. Let me know in the comments which one you'd pick or if you have any questions!Watch P
For my part, though, I've never used a mouse pad as fundamentally fantastic as the QcK Performance, and I've tried many from all the big brands—Razer, SteelSeries, Logitech, et al—over the years. It feels like a product that's come from a real care and attention for its target market.Read M

On the other hand, static friction isn't quite as good as on the Zowie pad, and dynamic friction might be a touch quicker, too, though it's hard to tell. Most importantly, though, the rough texture can be quite unpleasant on your arm when gaming for an extended period if you're a low-sens player as many control pad gamers are. Unless you use a gaming sleeve like me, of course, but few are willing to take the L to their public image that I am.Read P
It's definitely not the most premium of bases and doesn't stick like crazy to your desk, but it definitely does the job considering the type of base they use. I will say that when you dig into your mouse pad, you can definitely feel the base move a bit, but nothing too crazy. Now, let's talk about the surfaces individually. First is going to be the QCK control. This is made from polyester and the control surface is not as slow as you would think. It has good control but also doesn't feel muddy. I am able to switch between targets quite easily with it.Watch I iitzKami iitzKami · 2.4K subscribers · Mar 2025
And because of this, my pad has one edge that is slightly raised. As you can see, it's not flat on the desk. I can like press it in. It's right where the Steel Series logo is. It's nothing like gamebreaking. Um, but it is something to take note of. So, another thing to note is the base. The base here is not like a very sticky base. It's like a weighted base. Uh, the pad doesn't really slip around my desk. So, whatever this base is, it does its job. So, there's nothing for me really to complain about. Now, in terms of speed, this pad is quite fast.Watch F

None of them were rolled super tightly, but even so, after unboxing and even after a full week, none of them lay completely flat, which is honestly a bit disappointing. On the bottom, we have a foam-like base rather than a classic textured rubber one, and since all three use the same base, they're all fairly soft. I'd honestly compare them to soft pads in general. Around the edges, we get stitched edging that sits flush with the surface, which is good.Watch B
Um, I don't like how firm it is personally. That's just my personal thing. Um, but it is nice. It does feel quite consistent. Um, the stickiness of the surface or the base. Sorry. I can actually show you that if I take these pads off. It's not bad. It's cold. It does not move in game, which that's all I can really ask for. and it doesn't stick to your desk, which is quite nice. Um, other than that though, there's not much more to talk about the base and stitching here. It is quite standard um, across most of the high-end pads. Um, now we aren't getting a polyurethane base here.Watch
